Exploring an Abandoned 18th Century Oldest Stone Hut and Cottage

‪@VINTERIUM..EXPLORIUM.1‬ These small round mediterranean stone house with conical roof are typically made from local limestone. The main feature of this old stone house is a construction technique made of dry stone. Important to say that only stone was used in the construction which makes this structure really unique. Farmers had picked rocks out of soil to clear space to grow olive tries and grape vines, vegetables, ect. They then used rocks to construct walls around geometric plots and peculiarity is construction of this stone hut,,cottage called KAŽUN. This 18th century old buildings are known for their unique construction and historical significance representing the traditional architecture and rural heritage of the region ISTRA (CROATIA).     Wow! I wish I could visit these kinda places too. I have started a small community and we were able to only do 1 partial Urbex adventure.
