After just hearing the woman talk about her stabbed son and a letter of apology, who on Earth would fight for a country when that country doesnt care about its own citizens?

Britain is its own worst enemy.

Half the country isn't even British now....

I'm not prepared to fight for the UK's survival just so it can continue on this path of becoming a foreign country, however if it could go back to the country of my youth I'd gadly fight and I'm sure many others feel the same way

Both my Grand Fathers were gassed in the Somme . They died in their late 40s as a consequence of that gassing. My father & mother were in the RAF during WW2 my father a bomber pilot. All the males in his class either died or mutilated mentally or physically during that conflict. I unfortunately failed the medical so was unable to serve. I have told my 2 sons and daughter to leave the UK as they hold dual citizenship. Do not fight for imports and a Government who hate you!

I'm going to be homeless in the coming weeks. The council has nothing for me, charities are helpless and just say sorry they can't help. I'm a 53 year old bloke, worked from age 16, there's no help for me and yet the government throws everything at the non British and let the actual British rot. There's nothing left to fight for.

Why should we fight for a country thats no longer ours. Theres 700,000 people in they can fight for them they aint done shit for British people

As a retired US Army infantryman (22 years service) I have to take up for the British “Squaddie.” The UK Soldiers I trained and deployed with were consummate professionals and hard as coffin nails. I do share your concerns, even here in the US it is becoming increasingly difficult to find decent troops to carry the torch into the future.

Wouldn’t fight for a country that doesn’t believe our history should be taught in schools. Also I would never fight for these economic migrants that are only interested in ££ and hate our country maybe if they want a passport they should go and fight for our country instead of fleecing the system. A years national service would be a good idea 👍

The national anthum use to put shivers down my spine, I sung hyms at school assemblies and would panic if I was late for school or my Dad would clip me around the ear, I stood outside Buckingham palace for 9 hours in the rain to pay my respects to the late Queen as she was driven past upon her return from Scotland (I kept my watch at home), I would have freely given my life to my country ten years ago as my great-grandfather fought in WWI and my grandfather fought in WWII. I get emails from the Tory party inviting me to join and attend conferences. I'm a retired bank manager, husband and father but honestly, if Russia invaded today I would shake their hand and would rather go to prison than fight them. The country I was raised in no longer exists - I'm frankly embarassed to be British.

The military conscripts wouldnt get out the barrack gates as the military convoy would be halted by Just Stop Oil .

As a German I wouldnt want to fight and die for my rotten governement and country either... Here similar things are going on.. We have a controlled media, we have controlled protests, the govenrment would like to ban the only real opposition in the Bundestag...

The thought of a war with Russia terrifies me and should terrify everyone. I don’t want my friends and me to die for no reason other than to make defence contractors billions of pounds. Endless wars, endless money, when are we going to realise it’s all a game and we are the pawns. Woke brigade or no woke brigade, no one wants to die for no reason. I’d rather shake the hand of a blue haired lunatic than a psychopath that’s prepared to send hundreds of thousands of young men to their deaths. Think about who the real enemy is and realise their greatest weapon is making us fight each other, rather than them.
