As a person who had a mitral valve repair and returned to full activity, I'm glad to hear this; surgery has come a long way. Best wishes to him.

My dad was born with a congenital heart defect, which was only picked up as his dad was an orthopaedic surgeon and they were playing with this stethoscope and my grandfather picked up the issue. He was ultimately flown from Australia to the Mayo clinic and was the first child to under their evolutionary heart valve replacement. He was the older person to have this heart surgery. I hope Bronny can make a full recovery.

If they hadn't found a cause, I'd be terrified for Bronny. Now that they have one, they just need to eliminate the problem and he can move on.

Can we just appreciate how this man can crank a video out the same day news breaks with appropriate models and explanations all while making it look effortless? I 0:24 don’t see credits at the end of the video, so I assume he’s doing all the work. Teach me your ways🙏

My newborn son was diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot, this hits close to home.

He is the best doctor who gives full details on any sports injury. For all of us who do not know what happened to an athlete we admire he gives all the information we need to know. At the same time he gives us an idea how we can understand medical terms and so on. I subscribed to him for the first time i saw his video review about a sports injury. More power and god bless doc Brian
  • One of the craziest things outta this situation is that people real blamed bron & accused him of putting his son on steroids just crazy how the man could’ve lost his first born son & child & people saying things like that

I have CPVT, so one of the congenital heart defects, among some others, which was thankfully caught before any arrests or fainting issues. I love playing basketball so it was a difficult time when I was having symptoms and the doctor told me not to do any strenuous exercise. The good news is that there are very effective treatments these days and I currently am able to do anything I want, including long days of basketball and weight lifting, without any symptoms. I'm sure it will be the same for Bronny and he won't have to give up his dreams for being unlucky with this birth defect.

I have sick sinus syndrome tachy brady. I was going asystole. Got a pacemaker put it. It was an electrical problem for me and congenital. I had the pacemaker put in in like 2015.
  • All these comments on social media about the covid shot were so funny. I thought we had a big problem with these people in Germany but you Americans are on a different level
  • Hi there Brian, it would be really cool if you did a video on the NWSL Forward Sophia Smith’s injury from this Sunday’s game between the Portland thorns and Washington Spirit Sophia is a very young and exciting player who won MVP last year so it was a sad moment to see her go down.

I was born with both ASD and VSD. My circulation is non existent and my extremities get cold super quick in the winter, but I still played ball through college with minimal complications. Only had 1 cardiac event during a high school game but it wasn't serious
  • @AustinStross
Praying his treatment is a success, this young man has so much potential ❤️

As a designer going into the world of sportswear and equipment I love learning about human anatomy and injuries from your channel. I would love to hear more about female athletes however. Would be interested to learn more about how WNBA players injuries differ or are the same as NBA athletes etc. Keep up the educational content!
  • Hey would love to see you do a video on Ryan Preece and his bloodshot eyes from his Daytona crash last week. Would love to hear the medical explanation!
