655 days sober. Best thing I’ve ever done. Edit: wow! Thanks y’all!! ☺️ Hit my 2 year mark today! 💪🏼
  • I’m a black guy and In my area a lot of people don’t listen to this. But when they realized this song actually helped me with my alcohol addiction when I play it the whole car be in tears

*me going through the comments liking all the "been sober... This many days" Proud of you. 😭🤗
  • 26 years sober. I lost my father on July 18, 1992, and my daughter January 25, 1993. A few weeks away from the 1 year anniversary of my father's death, I quit drinking. I saw my father lying in his casket instead of my face in the mirror one morning. Been sober since.

I was fighting an alcohol addiction around the same time I met a girl, I fell hard then when she left. I fell even harder for the alcohol. This song keeps volumes to me, Two months sober now.

My son died 12.16.19 at the Mayo Clinic......this was one of his favorite songs and M10 was his favorite country artist and introduced me to him. I think of my beloved son every time I hear this. Thank you, M10, for your help in keeping my son's memory alive! ❣

I met the love of my life, but you see I was an alcoholic and she told me if I didn't go clean I will loose her, guess what happened I did loose her cos I loved alcohol, I missed her so much the pain was so bad knowing she left, I became sober today making 6years I had to celebrate with this song. Thank God she is back to my life and our relationship is better now.

Do you ever hear a song after a few years and instantly get flooded with memories?
  • @Yesi_p18
He sings this like he’s lived it. So much emotion I love his voice.

I’m a father that had to take custody of my son from an addict/alcoholic when he was 12. I have so much respect for those that can walk away from alcohol and better their lives. Stay strong.

I’m going into a faith based rehab center tomorrow and it’s because I’m a functioning alcoholic. I’m only 21. I’m a college student but dated this girl for 4 years and she left about 6 months back. But I trust that Jesus will set me free from this and am excited about the testimony I’ll be able to share when I get back. I’m gonna be going from Louisiana to West Palm Beach, Florida. I’m excited to turn my life around and form a better relationship with Christ.

My dad stopped drinking in 2013. I'm so proud of him. Stopped right away. For me and my little sister.

"The one thing that always tore us apart is the one thing I won't touch again" It's been almost 2 years since we broke up, and I still text her some nights when the memories make their way down my cheeks. She blocked me, but she was my best friend who I could pour my heart out to. I can't ever get her back... I can't seem to ever get over her. But I can at least say that, for the first time, I'm dealing with it sober. Wherever she is, whatever she's doing, I just hope life is as amazing to her as she was to me.
