Can we all take a moment to appreciate how good of a friend Dan was. He kept Laura in his heart and on his mind, and stayed determined to get her justice.
  • rest in peace to every victim in this video. you didn’t deserve to have your life ripped away i’m so sorry.

Wait, what!?? Rayna was assaulted and impregnated by her sister's husband at only 11 yrs old and she stood by him and so did her parents? Just unbelievable. So sad.
  • @dirtydan5281
That second case was heavy, but god I'm touched by the fact that Dan truly never stopped seeking justice for his friend, and he succeeded :')

Puts a smile on my face to know these cases were still on someone's mind and finally solved. Thank you Criminal Core

I cannot fathom what humans do to other humans in cold blood. This world is not for me!

I often wonder if criminals, especially murderers, feel terrified now that law enforcement uses DNA & familial DNA to solve cold cases. I'm sure there's a lot of them out there that got away back then before DNA. And now that they're much older, they could still get caught & end up spending their so-called 'golden years' in prison.

so, the guy who assaulted and impregnated rayna when she was 11 was released!? and was still in contact with her, and his alibi was that he picked up a hitchhiker!? omg that guy shouldve been buried underneath the jail to begin with but just imagine what other crimes hes done... poor rayna having those situations forced upon her and ultimately being murdered by someone she considered a friend. gosh thats heartbreaking

Sgt. Dan Goodwin fullfilled his promise and somehow even his name! So satisfying that he could bring Laura and her family justice.

Thank you for showing your empathy by not playing loud background music and not using visual special effects. All good quality documentaries don't have background music. I'm glad we're finally becoming more civilised and we understand empathy. Even this very faint music is not needed as well, but it's acceptable. Thank you. ❤

There's no punishment that can be enough for someone like Greg Marquardt. To not only hurt such a small child, so horribly, but to threaten a mother with killing her children, then r*** and killing her and that when he was her brother-in-law. What an absolute waste of a human being.

Rayna deserved better. her family let her killer go over him “seeming nice”, her own sister let her husband rape and impregnate her, and i feel like no one took the case seriously. rest in peace angel

It’s great to see how scientific advancement is putting these creeps in jail after they’ve been free to live their lives. It’s a good feeling to know the criminals that are sweating it out with all the new technologies that can catch them now.

Ruling out a suspect based on a flakey alibi provided by one of their relatives is pure idiocy.

Colin Pitchfork’s minimum term was reduced to 28 years for good behaviour in 2009 and he was released in September 2021. He was recalled for breaching his licence conditions after being accused of approaching young women in the streets two months later. The UK legal system is seriously flawed.

The part where the narrator says you have to wait 24 hrs to file missing person report is wrong. If anyone ever tells you theres a waiting period before filing do not listen to them, including law enforcement. Demand, tell them youre not leaving, make a scene whatever it takes to get them to take you seriously. If you know they arent the type to disappear without telling someone demand to speak with detectives in charge of missing persons. I repeat, there is no law or rule that you have to wait any length of time to file missing person. Waiting seals the fate of the truly missing.

Perfect example of how dangerous, reckless and derelict officers are when they elicit a false confession and rely on that confession with no other corroborating evidence. Aside from an innocent man going to prison the real serial killer is free to destroy more lives.

Cool to find this video today. I was surprised that Anthony Sanchez was scheduled to die for the murder of Juli Busken today, so had to check the news, and .... yup! He was executed and pronounced dead this morning. Cool little creepy coincidence.
