Thanks a lot for highlighting the power of being different (vs being better)! As a high school physics teacher, I struggled with this for years on YouTube. What finally worked was being different. In the hindsight, it almost seems obvious. But it’s not. It took me quite a while to stumble upon this. And I am so glad that this video explains this idea so nicely. Banger alert. This is wildly insightful

I've been pushing this idea of "ideas" with people in my masterminds as well. We use the word "concept" instead but same principle. The videos that have grown our channels the most may have some topic/format link, but simply overdoing topics or formats hasn't proven useful. Concept seems to have been the biggest common denominator between the 10-20 videos that drive 70%+ of ALL views to my channel compared to the other 90% of my videos that never really add to baseline.
