Reviewing a couple Halloween themed episodes of the Super Mario Super Show! Bowser turns into a vampire and wants Peach's blood in Count Koopula. Then, in Slimebusters, we learn Ernie Hudson is a Ghostbuster in real life and has to bust Luigi.

The Slime(/"Ghost") Luigi is yet another thing that's funny in hindsight, because in the 3DS re-release of Luigi's Mansion they added a two-player mode where one person is Luigi, and the other player is... a green, slimey Luigi doppelganger called "Gooigi"!

Ernie Hudson must have been an IRL ghostbuster that got his role in the movie because he was a consultant with acting experience. Yep that's Mario canon now.

Yay! Halloweenie is back! (Okay, I like Halloweenie so much I had him on my birthday cake 3 or 4 years ago. I also had another cake for Pumpkinweenie. Being born near Halloween has its advantages, and having a SpppOOOOky cake is one of them.)

Funny enough Count Koopula was like one of the few episodes my local Blockbuster had, we didn't have cable, so this was an even bigger nostalgia trip for me than usual. Thanks Phelan
