Planting Clearance Bare Root Shade Perennials in Terracotta Pots (Hosta, Toad Lilies, and Brunnera)

Published 2024-06-28
Today I'm planting clearance bare root shade perennials in terracotta pots. I have always loved the look of terracotta containers especially as they age. I have hosta, toad lilies, and brunnera. I've never planted toad lilies before so this is new to me. I really want to grow these shade perennials underneath my covered back porch in an area that we normally junk up. I got everything from Tulip World and Holland Bulb Farms on clearance. I always place a clearance plant order every summer because the prices just get too good lol. Hope this encourages you to add some shade perennials to your garden and to not be afraid of purchasing clearance bare roots.

Plants:
Alexander's Great Brunnera
Mixed Hostas
Empress Toad Lily
Tojen Toad Lily
Mixed Toad Lilies
