Outstanding. I was just looking on the Lightning Rods page, and was thinking about finally doing a build with one of his great motors. Thanks for sharing these stats and specs.

Thanks for posting and sharing with us, you have my dreams bike, enjoy it, wow, I will never have the skills to build either and reliable like you, congrats, hat down
  • Hey Niels. Thinking about getting the same kit, but small block. How does it compare to the cyc pro gen 2 in terms of sound? This video makes it sound a lot less shrill. Anyways. Absolutely love what you’ve built and keep β€˜β€˜em coming!!
  • @TechGoop
Any chance you have some close up photos of the parts you can share? I would love to see how the battery was strapped on the frame, motor shots, etc. πŸ‘πŸ‘

Would you recommend doing a build like this with an Eleek Lite frame? I’m trying to see what would be a more robust option for both commute and off-road/jumping. A strong mountain bike or the Eleek which is made of steel. Your bike looks AMAZING! I wish I could just buy it from youπŸ˜‚β€ looks like the perfect balance between power and light weight! πŸ‘Œ πŸ‘Œ

Hey man, this looks insane. I am doing a similar thing even if a less powerful with acyc x1 pro gen 3 that i am going to run @5-6kw- is the dual speed derailleur setup good for offroad use ? I am pretty sure my stock drivetrain will last maybe 5min with my torque output so i prolly will have to replace it

Is it possible to do a build exactly like this, but throw on 21” wheels for more hybrid commute/off road and city use? I would also use smaller cranks to be safe if so. Thank you. Awesome video! Ps. Just curious, what would be your range per charge if you averaged 48kph with this set up? Sounds so smooth!

Hey how is your Saracen holding up to power of the big block? A few of us over at Discord High Voltage are trying to sort out the good from the bad in terms of downhill and long travel bikes when it comes to adding more power. Particularly in regards to the swing arm coping. It seems we come to some kind on initial consensus of the suitability of a bike then someone pops in and tells us they know someone who busted the swing arm on "that" model with a BBSHD. etc and we are back to the drawing board. . What I like about your bike is firstly the look, the suspension, the battery placement, err actually just about everything. Keenly await your response thanks πŸ‘
  • GREAT SARACEN MYST ..... do you have the link for the viking sticker ? Greetings from Italy 😊

How did you get the correct cogs on the rear wheel hub? Did you use special freewheel adapter or something similar?
