I tried to make this animation as canon as possible, even editing out the crack the original sprite had, but I probably still got some things wrong, and I added my own things, so ig this is kinda a take on phase 2 lol-
I would like to give a HUGE shout-out to Jay-M, as his VHS video inspired me to remaster this and he is just a genuine amazing guy.
He is one of the most talented animators in the UTC and deserves way more subs then he has-

Ok so when ever i see a really good animation from someone i like to comment how good it was but this. This i cant describe how amazing it felt watching it. Idk if its just because vhs is one of my favorite au's/at but man this was amazing. Great job man.

I randomly got recommended this, and I got to say, I've never been more surprised when I heard my cover instead of the original. I believe you're the first person to use any of my covers for an animation, and you've set quite the precedent. You knocked this animation out of the park, man! Fantastic visual through and through. It's definitely the most detailed animation I've seen of VHS Sans. I only wish you waited until I pushed out V2, but that's more on me for taking so long with it. Seriously, nice job, and thank you for choosing my cover as the frame for this amazing artwork.

It’s currently 3 AM where I live and damn, this was peak. I’ll keep this brief, because it’s 3 in the morning . The animation, as usual, is great! No surprise there. I really like the fact that you leaned into the creepypasta element of VHS sans in this. That part where his head splits open is by far the coolest thing I’ve seen in a VHS take. I also like that the human actually tries to run in this. In other takes, despite “run” being all over the screen, and the theme literally being titled “Better Start Running” they never actually use the flee option, so I like the originality. Overall, this is top-tier! Great job!
