There is no way that the US will give their F-15's to Ukraine. Except for the F-22 the F-15 is the US's top of the line aircraft and having them shot down by the Russians will be a major propaganda loss for them. The M1A1 loses on the battle field showed that the tank was not all mighty powerful as it was portrayed.

As a former GCI Controller, still lean more toward the F-15E ("strike eagle") and A-10 mix. F-15E for Air Interdiction, A-10 Close Air Support.... with addition of TACP/JTAC. (F-4G Wild Weasel is also a system to be respected)
