Hundreds of vampires are unleashed at night upon the population. The vampires are led by Black Hat (Karl Urban from Doom). When the three Priests reject Black Hat's offer to join him, he kills them all. The next morning, Priest (Paul Bettany from the Avengers), Priestess (Maggie Q) and Hicks (Cam Gigandet) arrive in Jericho and discover the town empty and the three dead Priests crucified.

What’s the movie Priest about?
Following the age-old war between humans and vampires, the latter were defeated by the Priests caste and the survivors parked in reservations. In this ravaged world, cities have become Orwellian megalopolises ruled by the high authorities of the clergy and the Priests are left behind, now useless. The Church is omnipresent in Cathedral City, from the panels to the loudspeakers hammering out dogma. After the last conflict, a priest Paul Bettany from The Avengers and Wandavision) - a legendary and anonymous veteran - is adapting as best he can to this new life. However, his niece (Lily Collins from Stuck in Love, Emily in Paris and Love, Rosie) is kidnapped by a group of vampires, forcing her to brave religious authority by taking up arms again.

A good object lesson here: In a real fight leave the fancy tricking moves at home. Just leaves you open to a kill strike by a real martial artist.

My favorite scene and a very memorable villain to me :) best of both worlds, priest and vampire. Cool music too, the whole conductor dance he does. It really feels like you're the player and you just entered a boss area. And this is the reveal scene like "That man seems to be behind this" kind of thing, this scene was so badass And no conversation or anything when the priests arrived, just straight into the fight. They recognized the odd person celebrating in the chaos. He sensed their presence, their approach. He turns around, acknowledges them and confirms their suspicions with just a smile, facing them. And we're off. The only conversation we get during that little scuffle, it's perfect.
