    Lots of glider travel methods on here. It's really easy to make a flying vehicle. I slapped some wings and thrusters on my hauler and that is all I think I will really need for the entirety of my world.

    I don't understand how these massive builds are possible when the game keeps giving me extremely high complexity warnings & kicking me out just because I built a "normal" village in the Dry Valley. 😢

    The steering thingy doesn't work in survival mode. It works for a while, but it's rattling around and eventually breaks, just like any of the other methods that rely on trapping unconnected geometry within the vehicle. The only 100% reliable way, is still to add and remove a steering thruster as needed. It's insane that we have to do stuff like this. I guess they were dead set on pre-Christmas release, because there's no way in Hell this game is finished.
