0:00 Introduction: Castor oil for skin and hair
0:19 Ricinoleic acid benefits
2:52 Cold-pressed castor oil
3:19 The best castor oil for your hair

In this video, weā€™re going to talk about the benefits of castor oil. Castor oil contains the compound ricinoleic acid, which acts as a remedy for many issues involving the skin and hair.

Castor oil can be very beneficial for the following concerns:
ā€¢ Dry skin
ā€¢ Brittle hair
ā€¢ Dry hair
ā€¢ Hair loss
ā€¢ Cracked heels
ā€¢ Stretch marks
ā€¢ Scars
ā€¢ Dermatitis
ā€¢ Joint pain
ā€¢ Acne
ā€¢ Styes

Ricinoleic acid in castor oil has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties and is a potent antioxidant. Castor oil is a natural conditioner for the skin and hair, so it works as an excellent moisturizer. It can also rejuvenate skin affected by sun damage.

Castor oil has antifungal properties, so it works as a remedy for toenail fungus.

Castor oil is easy to find and relatively inexpensive! Look for cold-pressed castor oil without a hexane solvent.

Jamaican black castor oil is the best for hair. It stimulates hair growth, adds shine, and can also help with alopecia.

Male at 77 years young, I have been using it almost daily on my face, arms and legs. Softens skin amazingly, I leave it on as long as I am not going out and shower to remove the very sticky oily sheen. Highly recommend it for anyone to use daily or 3 to e times a week. Can stain clothing if you overdo it.

Thanks for your dedication to improving societyā€™s well being
  • I used it in my hen's eye after I caught a hawk on her back pecking at it. Her cornea was torn up, and deep! I couldn't think of anything else to do. I put one drop in every other day (twice total), at first it got cloudy, but within a week it's completely healed like nothing happened. This happened around 3 weeks ago.

Iā€™ve been using as a moisturizer & went to a store with just minimal foundation. The two young women helping me (I am over 50 & guess they are half my age) commented at how soft & pretty my face was & said theyā€™d not wear makeup ever if their skin looked as good.
