Shrek literally has a talking cookie, it's not way out there for a donkey and dragon to procreate
  • Saying, “we know it’s in a world where magic exist” instantly destroys any plot hole you mention unless it breaks the establish rules of the movies universe.

You can’t pick apart the Merits of interspecies breeding in a film that has a walking, talking cookie! 🙄🤣😂
  • @envoy2500
Fun fact about dragons: in most mythology they are shape shifters and can procreate with practically anything. Kind of like Zeus lol
  • @mannyq349
It's a fairytale world so anything can happen hell we have a cookie talking and walking. I think you guy's dropped the ball on number 1

The Liar Liar part is a plot hole, but not for the reason stated. While it is true that a minor can not legally enter into a contract, there are provisions in place for when a minor lies about their age or under other circumstances signs a contract. Once the minor reaches the age of 18 there is a window of time in which they can choose to end the contract as it wasn't legal for them to do so in the first case. If the window expires, then the person is considered to have legally agreed to the contract (called affirming or ratifying the contract) as an adult and is therefore required to adhere to the requirements of the contract. So the fact that the wife was a minor when she signed the contract and got married doesn't matter, it would still be legally enforceable. Also, in Armageddon, it would not be easier to train astronaut to be drillers. They do not teach the drillers to be astronauts, they only teach the drillers how to do what they already know how to do in a reduced gravity environment. It takes years to learn everything about being an astronaut, which is why real astronauts have to go with them, to do things like flying the ship. It would take years to teach the astronauts everything they would need to know about being drillers. From how the machines operate, what to do if a machine malfunctions, what speeds and feeds you need to go at for different types of substances you are trying to drill through, etc. NASA didn't just go out and get the first drillers they could find, they went after the best they could find because of the dire consequences of failure. I used to work as a machine operator, and while you could learn to run the machine in a few hours, knowing what to do when the machine failed could take years to learn. The fate of the world was on the line and the chance couldn't be taken that an inexperienced drilling crew might run into a problem they didn't know how to overcome.
  • You even showed the Karate Kid clip of her explaining that kicks to the head are allowed, but you still said they're not. That's not counting the MANY winning kicks to the head it shows throughout the tournament.
  • @ChuckandZee
It’s the fact that the donkey mated with a dragon that tripped you up... not that the donkey talks.
  • @koobs4549
Wait, so a living, breathing cookie (sorry, biscuit for those across the pond) person is totally normal but a fictional dragon & a donkey having babies is a bridge too far for believability?
  • @joelmavity1467
Donkey and Dragon are like Hagrid’s parents where his mom was a giant and his dad was average sized.
  • @athornforeveryh
"dOnKeYs AnD dRaGoNs CaN't MaTe" I'm sorry, are you an expert in the fictional species of Dragons? I love how you even throw in a clip of the Gingerbreadman as you're calling out the craziness of a children's movie...
  • @TLM-Nathan
"Why then were they so careless that Dalton was able to get into the room in which his wife was being quarantined..." Let's ask the men guarding Jeff Epstein.
  • @AryonaSamoto
For Liar Liar, I asked that same question but realized that common law property division would still apply.
  • @TheHeroExodus
I love it how johnny keeps restating "that kick was illegal " in Cobra Kai. Brings his downward spiral into perspective.
  • @DJGamingSmash
Some of these aren't really plot-holes and are FULLY addressed.
  • @Lodrik18
Bruce Willes refused to teach the NASA how the drill works, the NASA wanted to sent astronauts up first and Willes forced them to take his crew... (watch the start of the movie...)
  • @harmenroelf296
You see, the donkey an the dragon having babies is the joke. This is a comedy. Those have jokes in 'em. The dragon and the donkey are the "setup", the hybrid babies are the "punchline". Other movies have jokes to. You're welcome.
  • I guess they don't know about the deleted scene in The Karate Kid that completely explains how Daniel-san was able to win. It shows Mr. Myagi giving a big wad of cash to the referee just prior to the final match. You don't hear the actual conversation between them, but the ref nods. Next thing you know, Daniel-san wins the tourney.
  • @travisneill704
Nope, California common property law. They even state it in the movie liar liar. Even if they weren’t legally married they were living as common law and she would still be entitled to half of assets.
  • @jasonritner9662
"How could this happen in a highly controlled military environment?" Anyone who has served in a military branch knows exactly how something like that could happen...
