Riding around in my 1967 firebird listening to Fee on 8 track. Amazing time to be alive
  • It’s been a heckuva long time since I last heard this song back during the Winter of 1972/73 as a 17 year 12th grader. Liked it then and still like it now at 67. Time passes quickly but good music and the memories it elicits are a constant.

Loved it as a young boy when it came out, still gives my goosebumps 50 years later
  • What an absolute piledriver song! The riffage, the pounding drums, the clean bass…the expressive vocals WOW

Just watched at least half a dozen different bands covering his tune on Youtube. This is the original and the best by a mile

I was just watching a video about how Paul Rodgers is not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and I came to listen to his voice. He has two different voices, his normal and his belt voice. His normal voice sounds timeless, like he could easily sing in a band in the 50's, the 40's, back to the beginning of recorded music. And then his belt voice has so much passion. I can see why he is considered to be one of the best rock vocalists ever.

This album was my introduction to Free. As the years passed I got to listen to their other superb albums, especially Fire and Water. They just split up far too early. One of the greatest blues rock band (with Cream) in my opinion.

I was a young teenager at the time this and many other now classic records were playing on the radio. I just took it for granted that music was always this good.
