Another epic video my friend! Enjoyed it immensely 😊😊👍👍 A very interesting time period for pipes and tobacco. I am going to break out my jar of Gettysburg and have a bowl in honor of your video! Take care Lester 👍😎👊
  • Such a great idea and history that is well worth remembering. Well done Lester. Cheers my friend. Grazie 🙏 S.

I live 2 hr, 15 minute drive from Gettysburg. I have toured the Battlefield three times. Took the first car tour when cassettes players were "the things" in cars. The best was probably the walking tour I took with the Boy Scouts. I think it was a day, and then a half day the following day. Excellent video sir!! Appreciate the effort!

All kidding aside..love me that leather coat you are sporting complete with the badge and those dangly ends!...Looks sharp with that hat no doubt! Looks JW proper if you ask me! 🙂👍 AnywayI dont have any Quite Man but did acquire a bottle of Buffalo Trace during the holidays...so here's to you Lester....Cheers me ol' mate! ✌️🙂🥃

I always enjoyed Rally ‘Round the Flag. The Northern battle song. I’ve heard of this blend. I believe it is exclusive to Pipes & cigars. I’ve been to Gettysburg several times. 4 hour drive from western Pennsylvania.
  • Great Video Lester! Enjoy the piping. Nicely themed with the hat, jacket, matches, bullet and tobacco. A fantastic tribute
  • Well I take my hat off to the legend and the great … the Doctor! Lester. Holy cow that was brilliant!!! I’m watching again !! Cheers me ol Mate!!!! Mike

Superb stories, review, clothing, content, and video, Lester! You have outdone yourself. ❤ You have earned that law man's tin star, my friend. I'd saddle up for your posse, anytime.😊

Now that Sir, is a seriously impressive jacket! Coincidentally was watching the 1993 Gettysburg film the other week. Amazing acting from some excellent actors and shows the horrors and humanities of both sides. Jeff Daniels deserved an Oscar for his portrayal of Joshua Chamberlain of the Union. Highly recommended for those that haven’t seen it. Great vid as always 🎉

Excellent video Lester, enjoyed greatly all the added content and character. I toured Gettysburg Battlefield in 1969 with my Dad and Brother, I was only 15 at the time but it had such an impact on the way I viewed America and the tides of war. Thanks for re-stirring those memories of that time period with my Dad. We toured all of the major Civil War Battle fields over a 3 year time period, it was priceless. Also very encouraging on the Tabaco, I'm not of fan of the peach fruity flavoring and plan to try Sherman's March for a casual kick back smoke. Thanks so much again for a great video, Take Care and God Bless

Always a pleasure Lester love the outfit too 👍🤝👊

You always hit it out of the park with your videos Lester, so much effort and thought. Also the information you always provide in your videos is fantastic, just re-watched your videos on filters. Great photos of wartime pipes, perhaps their only comfort back then. Regards Mark
  • Awesome! Lester, always dressing the part 😂🍻 gave a great week.

Great stuff - as always! And you’re speaking my language too - American civil war and John Wayne! Horse Soldiers is one of my all time favorites - even with all of its historical inaccuracies and terrible uniforms/costumes! Meerschaum, briar, cherry and clay pipes were all widely used during that period. Clay pipes - as you might imagine - were easily and cheaply made, sold in bulk and frequently discarded and/or broken during the rigors of campaign and camp life. Cheers!
  • Great video my friend. Appreciate the review and the tribute to The Duke.

WOW, Lester!!! You look the part for this video with absolute certainty!!! The Horse Soldiers is a fantastic motion picture! John Wayne is my hero, as well. You were spot on with your tribute! The Battle of Gettysburg…how tragic, but necessary for the betterment and future of my country! I am glad you were able to visit there. Wishing you health and happiness my dear friend!🙏❤️
