I love how danny carey always looks like he just came over to watch the superbowl with you
-
What a line up, holy hell.
-
2 Zappa vets, 2 Crimson vets, and Tool. The potential is unimaginable. I have not been to a live show in over a decade…but I hock something for a ticket to this. 4 of the most inveterate and dedicated musicians alive.
-
The best thing about a Beato interview is that he never goes for the salacious, or controversial. It's all about the music. You can see how relaxed the musicians are knowing they're not going to be cornered by some rumor or accusation. It's never click bate. We click because we're fans, and respect the format.
-
Belew deserves so much more honor and credit for his contribution to music.
-
AM I THE ONLY ONE THAT CAN'T WAIT TO HEAR ADRIAN SING FRAME BY FRAME AND MATTAE KUDASAI?? His voice is sublime!
-
I've always thought that Adrian is a highly underrated singer. Everyone knows he's a monster on the guitar, but I've admired his voice for 40 years!
-
Did anyone take note of what Steve Vai said at 59:13? "You choose how you want to feel and then you decide the story attached to it". This guy is more than a guitarist/artist/performer. He's like a spiritual master. No joke. He always has these interesting philosophies he shares in his interviews. The guy has some depth. And on a more pertinent level, cool that Adrian put this together. I hope they come to my town.
-
"We had a producer ... his name is Scrote." Best first line of an interview.
-
"oh I played in a country band with Jeff"..... what a thing to just throw out there. amazing.
-
Those three 80's King Crimson albums are pure magic. I will never forget the first time that I heard Elephant Talk as a kid back in the 80's.
-
Danny is so quiet, respectful and appears to be in total awe.
-
I'm amazed at how Tony Levin doesn't age... The guy looks sixty since the early '80s!
-
Dude… you are crushing it with these interviews.
-
Adrian’s explanation of how the poly meters of the guitar parts in Frame By Frame loop is brilliant.
-
When you listen to Discipline, you get a sense of how influential it was on Tool’s sound. Amazing album and way ahead of its time.
-
We are honored to hear Steve talk about our "songbook" In this interview and that both Steve and Danny are using our scorebooks to rehearse for the upcoming BEAT tour. We were also happy to give Rick a copy before this interview. Both King Crimson scorebooks are available exclusively through 7d Media.

Rick is changing what music content is. Look at this 1hr conversation.... nobody can touch this content and orchestrate this conversation on this level. Rick, you're the Beatles of content creation for music, thank you. And about this lineup, no words... living legends that are so humble and nice. You can't find 4 guys who love music like these.
-
"You choose how you want to feel and then you decide the story attached to it." -Deep words by Vai.
-
The humility on all of these virtuoso musicians is amazing. I can really tell Steve is enthusiastic about this and views it as a challenge.
