Inside The Mystical Cave of Moses

Şuayb, Şanliurfa, Turkey
Şuayb is home to ancient Roman ruins but is said to be where Jethro - the father-in-law of Moses, once lived. Şuayb is his name in Islam, and the Quran describes him as a prophet in his own right – a righteous man who implored his people to abandon their wicked ways. According to the Bible, Moses stayed in Jethro/Şuayb’s village soon after his escape from Egypt. He lived and worked there for 40 years upon marrying Jethro’s daughter Zipporah. This likely would have been around the 15th century BC, but most of the ruins are from the Roman era.

I don't think it's where Moses got his staff. Something is lost in translation. That would be where Moses smote the rock with his already existing staff to bring living water out of the rock. Love your vids, and your access to such places - you're not far off.

i love how friendly you & so many people in your videos are. it’s so much more fun to be friendly & talk to people than to just walk around pretending like you don’t want to say hi.

Look at those skies. Those are the skies I remember as a child before they started painting the skies.
