Man, this is the type of video that really makes me want to take the plunge into youtube content with my already existing blender knowledge. HOW DARE YOU MAKE ME WANT TO CREATIVLY EXPLORE THINGS!
  • @lost_frog
These people inspire me to finally finish that blender doughnut tutorial.
  • As a professional animator who primarily uses Maya, I can absolutely agree that Blender is so fun to use. Especially Grease Pencil which opens up so many possibilities for combining 2D with 3D. ♥

Genuinely this style is one of my favourite on YouTube! Mostly because it lets people express themselves individually, like Funke (as you mentioned) has a vastly different style to you, to everyone else. It’s a nice break from the homogeneity of the MrBeastification of youtube imo

As someone who often makes decisions based on "how fun they are" (I do game dev as a job haha), it makes me super stoked to see someone else be so genuinely excited and happy and enthusiastic about their own creative hobby. It helps me feel enthusiastic and excited for my own creative endeavors~

I have always struggled with what I should call myself on this platform, 3DTuber is such a perfect name

“I do officially consider Sonic OCs ‘within reason’” Give the man a Pulitzer

I never see theese animators talking about just animating, but you really sound so passionate and proud of what you've achived (and you deserve it, it looks awesome :]) yet the way you talk about it sounds so chill and engaging, it gives a really cool vibe. Love your stuff, keep it up! (you killed me making me think about how I was 12 when spiderverse 1 released lol)
  • I love how many YouTubers you showed that I know / watch. Was really cool too see them all in here!
  • I relate to this a lot, I also used to think that 3D animation was just a way to make my videos more engaging, but after a while I realized how fun animating and Blender in general was fun. I am now trying to get better at the animation side of thing and spending way more time on it.

Didn’t really notice the changes at first, but now I see it and you’ve really stepped up in quality, keep it up 💙

omg YOUR ARTSTYLE IS SO COOL?????? New fan here, but I already love this. I can't wait to see more! Amazing stuff right here!

i always say that i’m going to unlock unlimited power once i learn how to use blender. i’ve been using a mix of photoshop and premiere pro to edit my videos, but i want to learn blender to really push my animation style. you’re a really great animator and the format of your vids is so grounded and so well written. i love the callbacks to your other vids because it not only showcases the growth of the channel but also the personal growth of yourself. you’ve inspired me to get back to drawing a few months ago and now i guessss you’ve convinced me to queue up a blender tutorial sometime this week. btw sketchbook vid is super underrated. i love it and i wish it had more views. now i wanna binge watch all your videos again

It's really refreshing to see animation on YouTube be made with such skill and passion, the people who do these things clearly really love their craft. Also funkin' tf2 reference????
  • @GameRevo
Ohhh, this makes me so jealous of Blender. Seeing outlines get added so easily in Blender will always make me die inside. I've dabbled in it a little bit for some technical work - like exporting an elevation map for a mrere 5s of a video... but I'm firmly in Source 2 now. I was never much of an artist, so instead I've got a goal of pushing Source to its technical limits. The SFM community on Discord is just as vibrant as 3DTubing, they're a lovely lot.

...omnichord backing track? neat edit: honestly I think when people say "every frame of spiderverse looks like it came out of a comic" what they're really seeing is the directing. The way they move the camera and position the characters, combined with the aesthetic choices using comic book 'artifacting' for lack of a better term, mean that it's really easy to picture each set of shots as a series of comic panels. Kind of hard not to once I noticed it tbh

I fell in love with blender over the past year or so, its a crazy tool. Awhile ago I was on the fence on if I should do IRL commentaries with green screen video editing or 3d animation, and this video pushed over the fence. I am eternally grateful that Blender exists as a program.
  • Your facial expressions are so good, they give me chills I also love the detail that "angry little commenter guy" is on printer paper, but you're on script paper It also looks like we have the same toolset! (Windows, Blender) This is genuinely inspiring
