Maybe F4 is set in the universe before the current one. Like how Galactus is a survivor from a previous universe.

I wasn’t sure originally. But now I like this idea! We can get a F4 movie that doesn’t jack with the MCU timeline and this could have an ending that hits as has hard as the end of Infinity War. I mean… imagine Galactus winning!

I'm a sixties kid. I grew up on these comics ,especially when it came to the fantastic four drawn by Jack Kirby. I hope this movie captures and honor the legacy these legendary creators.

Whatever portal sends the FF through to the main earth could be based off Doom's design but the FF go to the modern timeline and Doom goes to the past (even if it's just a few years) to take over Latveria. They can't do another Doom that isn't the leader of Latveria.

Idk, that MoM universe they go through looks more like a reference to mirrors edge than foreshadowing to this FF universe
