The Entry Level GPU You've Never Heard Of - Moore Threads MTT S30

Moore Threads is back at it again but not with a gaming GPU this time. The Moore Threads MTT S30 was made for mainly office use and transferring utilization away from the CPU and onto the GPU. This makes it pretty good for video decoding in h.264 h.265 and AV1 but not so great for gaming. You still, however, can play some games at a decent fps with this graphics card.

I'm geniunely suprised here. they are good to go on Small die GPU optimisation considering vs arc 380 and GT 710. Now for the MTT S70 to actually get DX12 support and a big game list. And then the company works on actual ground up GPU designed for Games in mind rather than Mining GPU or AI accelerator (Sideways PCIE power gave it away last time)

This is a good graphic ls card on paper, but as you can see in msi afterburner overlay, the gpu is only being used 10-15%, you can imagine at 100% utilization about an 80% increase in performance.

Hey bro, your channel is EXTREMELY underrated, just wanted to say, keep it up. With the queality of these videos, one of these days you're gonna be one of the big ones. Keep the grind, never stop and good luck pal

While I was expecting poor performance and the results confirmed it, what I wasn't expecting is the card being stable and having no rendering errors (except in Genshin). Even Intel with their ARC cards had lots of glitches and rendering artifacts during the first months. If there's no stolen IPs inside that GPU, I'm all for those guys to succeed, as having another contender in the GPU space it's good for consumers.

for genshin, it might be because of fsr is still enabled? i had that black screen problems on older gpus

Sounds to me like these cards have the same issue as Intel ARC with the drivers. I have a feeling that these will get better over time.
  • @RaulServers
In th specs you say it is GDDR6 but in the driver utility it says LPDDR4
  • @RuruFIN
Not even joking but can it run Crysis?

i have a MTT S80 and play RUST since a month (1440p) on it :D (mostly build servers, therefore just fine) FPS is low, rendering top (much better as on a 3070 witch i own for several weeks ~ a one year a go, witch was very disappointing in comparison to my old RX580). I have also a Intel A380 and the FPS were similar at 1440p but i take much longer to load textures and also looks significantly worse with the Intel card. Heaven with tessellation works to (Driver 250.60.1 was my first driver, released at the day of delivery) Video Encoder seems also flawless (include AV1 and their OBS plugin works to but w.o. AV1 encoder support). I also consider to buy the S30, as curiosity, but I haven't found a cheaper offer yet.
