A little fiberglass tip from a guy who has been building custom fiberglass subwoofer enclosures for 25+ years. If you take fiberglass mat and cut it into strips, you can mix a cool batch of resin, submerge the mat strips in the resin then apply them to the back side of your repair to build up strength. By a cool batch of resin I mean slightly less hardener so you have more work time on the resin soaked mat. You just have to play with it a bit to figure out the hardener ratio. This is how they repair boats if the repair is too small to get a fiberglass sprayer into the area for repair.

I'm convinced jack could build a whole ass car from scratch at this point. The man has serious skills

Never seen fibreglass cut with exposed arms before!, that stuff itches like hell!!

Who else is so happy and excited for Jack's new chapter 🤝🏻

I'm so in for this. I've always loved the noble m12 and it's so great to see someone doing a unique car rather than the same old lambos, McLaren's, Porsches etc. Go Jack!

Not a kit car, Noble are a small specialty builder. Love these cars, looking forward to the build.

Fun fact, the Noble M12 is built in a South African factory that used to make planes. Currently the factory is operated b Hi-Tech Automotive, the same factory produces the chassis and body panels for Superformance cars like their AC Cobra and Daytona replicas.

Jack, I have to tell you, I love your content mate. You have a great way of presenting and the whole Evo build was fantastic. This Noble looks just as exciting too 👍

use a multitool when cutting carbon or fiberglass, it makes way less dust than a grinder and its much more accurate. I like using the fine tooth semi circle blades.

Great work. You should try a Fiberglass rollers next time. They are great for helping to apply fiberglass fabrics and help to wet out project by removing air. The design of the roller helps to push the fibres down and the resin and air through so that you end up with a stronger finished product.

Hi Jack. Great build. Great to see a Noble on a you tube channel and you will enjoy the car once its done as they are fantastic underrated cars. As a Noble M12 Owner in the UK I'd like to state they are not kit cars. They were made in UK and assembled in South Africa by Hi Tech Automotive and the US cars were assembled by 1 G Racing ( now called Rossion Automotive). Although the parts were shipped to these companies to be assembled they were not kit cars. They are a low volume hand made production car.
  • Had to pause the video to make this comment. Excellent ad integration, Jack. Make it a part of the video and people don't mind watching in any way. Good luck on the car, I'm sure you'll make cooler than ever. One thing though, for those repairs.. or in the future now, lol.. anyway, frayed edges on the fiberglass will help with adhesion.
  • I think I’ll really enjoy this build series, thought it was cool when you mentioned that its a kit car and that improvements can be made/are encouraged. Plus there’s room for your own custom things!

Leaving your arms fully exposed while working with Fibreglass. That's my boy, Jack!
  • @justinoliver1984
Ready to see what you can do with a "blank canvas" Jack. Your attention to detail, and way of thinking is really gonna set this Noble apart from the rest. Ready for the ride brother!
