We’re celebrating the 25th anniversary of Insomniac by releasing a double LP pressed on translucent orange vinyl and includes the cover art printed on prismatic silver foil. LP 1 is a remastered version of the album. LP 2 includes live tracks from the legendary 1996 Prague show on the A Side along with an etching on the B Side. Just note, due to COVID-19 production delays, vinyl will not ship until early 2021. warnerr.ec/gdstore

We’re partnering with Punk Rock & Paintbrushes to sell a limited edition Insomniac archival giclee print. All proceeds will benefit the Alameda County Community Food Bank.

FUN FACT: At 1:39 The word "shit" in the line "wish in one hand and shit in the other and see which one gets filled first" was left uncensored since the show's production team could not understand the lyrics to the new song (closed caption typed it as "unintelligible lyrics") and were not aware that the band had sworn on live TV.

This one from SNL and their performance of Armitage Shanks from 94 MTV VMA's are wild. Who else would have #1 singles and yet choose to play unknown and unreleased songs on their biggest TV appearances? Gotta love that punk spirit.

Dude the guitar tone is completely nuts. It's just so thick, sharp and stupidly distorted, just listen to those chugs in the intro. It's crazy how Billie managed to get such a saturated and rich sound, especially back then when there wasn't a lot of guitar gear variety.

Once again, let me say, my friends and I used to see these guys for free, or maybe a $5 cover. That being said, I'll never forget the time we were kicking it with Billie-Joe and my buddy started patting him, BJ, on the head and asked him, "How do you get it to be so crunchy?", meaning his hair. I started laughing so hard. Seeing BJ's bleached-out crunchy looking hair in this vid reminded me of that moment.
