Have you heard of the ‘Unexpected Red Theory’? Poppy meadow painting puts that theory to test.

Have you heard of the ‘Unexpected Red Theory’? It was coined by interior designer @intayriors who described it as ‘adding anything that’s red, big or small, to a room where it doesn’t match at all’ with the result that ‘it automatically looks better’ 🥰❤️

If you’ve followed me for a while, I don’t use a whole lot of red. It’s not a colour I naturally connect with… unless it’s for poppies 🎨🙂

Hope you enjoy, Sara x

To give you a little background, I started painting originally for stress relief and therapy when I suddenly started having seizures 3 months before I was due to graduate from a Physiotherapy degree! My whole life turned upside down as you can imagine. But I believe ‘Everything happens for a reason’ and I couldn’t imagine my life without my art now.

In 2018 I was discovered by a Publisher, Artko Ltd, who supply framed prints of my work to shops throughout the UK. My bestselling pieces are my ‘Love Trees’.

My work is currently in various shops including John Lewis and Dunelm and links to these can be found below…
