When he was blamed in Miami for not winning and folks kept asking for Riley I kept saying stick with Spo! Look at him now! He continues to find ways to win even with lesser talent! I’m so happy Riles stood his ground and kept faith in him!

Let's also not forget that he's the only coach to lose LeBron and still make the playoffs the next year. Spo is brilliant and he keeps showing the power of elite coaching year after year
  • I always tend to support heat in every series just because of him. How he makes his players play good basketball is literally amazing for true basketball fans.
  • I appreciate this as a long time Heatlifer. Spo holds a special place in my heart. One of the best coaches in NBA history.

Thank you! As a heat lifer, our coach definitely deserves his roses, how many different iterations has he gone thru and thrived with? Truly amongst the elite in the history of the game looking back.

Really wished you mentioned his 2017 coaching year. As a heat fan, i believe its his best coaching job going 30-11 second half of the year and winning 13 straight at one point!

Kings fan here. Miami Heat is lucky to have a great coach in Erik Spoels. He reminded me so much of Edelman and now Mike Brown.

Nice video. Really well done. I'd never seen Spo's history all put together in one place as well as this. Never seen "Heat Code" book. That is awesome stuff.
  • Throughout his career, Bron had multiple opportunities to work with some of the greatest coaches of his time. Too bad he always used to put himself above the team and was (and still is) basically uncoachable.

  • I thoroughly enjoyed this short documentary. Inspiring journey to become a great NBA coach. Being from Louisiana, and an avid LSU fan, I would love to see Coach Spo give Tremont Waters an opportunity.
