It is pretty amazing how Junior Johnson managed to win that race. The 348 Chevy's weren't nearly as fast as the 389 Pontiac's, but Junior stayed directly behind faster cars all day in his 59 Chevy Biscayne and basically made them pull him around the track and ended up winning the race somehow when Bobby John's back window blew out of his Pontiac Catalina somehow with around 10 laps left. Maybe the greatest single piece of driving in NASCAR history was Junior Johnson in the 1960 Daytona 500
