Once again you’ve tipped me off to several artists I wasn’t aware of (or only slightly), checking out their music now and enjoying much of it. Thanks for helping me further expand my ears and mind over the years! I have difficulty understanding how some people still have a narrow range of tastes in music when there’s such a wide, fascinating variety out there to explore if you just look around and give it a chance. Keep on preaching it Dereck!

Going to check all these records out! Thanks Dereck! Long time watcher but first time leaving a comment. Always enjoyable to hear your thoughts on music and life.

so much music to listen to, but so little time. knowing that fills me with both dread and enthusiasm. love to all of you ❤️
  • Great scores!! Also went to the record store again today. Can't stay away even when the wallet is screaming at me. 😂

Cheers Dereck. Glad to know you dig the Rotate This shirt. If you're ever in town I'd love to take you there as well as some of my other regular shops. Your US greenbacks would go far here.

The version of John Hicks' "After the Morning" on that Pharoah Sanders LP is one of my favorite things in life.

“It’s like they were laying in wait for me.”😂😂 I totally get it! And everything you bought is right up my alley. The AAMM, Christina Kubisch, Alice, NWW are all amazing. Eliane Radigue is one of my favorites.
  • Salut Dereck ! Once again your comments are sufficient in themselves and there is not much to add. It's not easy to talk about records well without sounding pretentious and you do it very well. As for Vivaldi, let me recommend his Stabat Mater performed by the countertenor James Bowman, it looks like a long pop piece.

Sometimes you find the things you need to get ready away or it will be gone. I had that happen to me numerous times. But I also wouldn't go back the next day and it was still there I picked it up. But mostly if you don't get it unfortunately it be gone and seems you will never see it again that has happened to me but I'm still hurting and looking for them.

Wow, what a bunch of great scores! I got that Godard album as VCLT a couple of years ago.

Hey Dereck, I may be way off on this, but there is a French movie director JON LUC GODARD whose movies I really enjoy and who passed away not too long ago , is that the same GODARD. Take care
