About time someone made this video! Long over due! Proud owner of a CU2 and not enough tear down or mod vids for this build.

I have a 2012 TSX with 220K miles. So interesting to take a closer look inside. Thanks AHC!! 🇺🇸👍🏻

I don't know how you guys don't have at least 300k subscribers. The quality of these videos are really good😳

I have a 2014 Acura TSX with less than 75k miles on the clock. Bought it used a few years ago with about 60k miles after my last TSX got totaled in a wreck, been daily driving this car for years now and has never failed me, not even 1 time, let my sister borrow it for a while and she did many long trips in it with her and her cats and it never left her on the side of the road either. Love the car, great daily driver, just wish mine was RWD with the 6 speed manual rather than the 5 speed auto, but overall an outstanding daily that will undoubtedly last for many more years to come.

I had an 06 TSX since new with the 2.4L with +176,000 miles with zero issue (until it was totaled by a red light runner in 2019). My 08 RDX with the I-4 2.3T is still on the road with +195,000 miles and still running strong. Just scheduled maintenance and always used syn oil for both.

This was a really good video. Good to see a factory trained technician going through this process.

I learned something new today, this engine doesn't have nearly the amount of stuff to go with it as I assumed it did, however they didn't disassemble the valvetrain so that would be where the tedious stuff along with the rockers would be. I am so happy I stumbled across this channel.
  • This was a great breakdown video. Love the explanations on each and every disassembled portion.

Awesome video, and perfect camera work, could see everything. Really well put together, thankyou!
  • Awesome vid! Currently prepping a k24z3 for my 91 Miata and I've learned some stuff that will be helpful.

No way did that crankshaft pulley bolt come off that easy 🤣🤣🤣
  • I own a 2009 TSX in Manual. I absolutely love the car I’ve always wondered what the engine is made out of thanks for this video
  • @jjbarrosjr
Awesome job fellas. Absolutely awesome. Love the video. 👍🏽
  • John is awesome! Will have him do all the work to my Acura NSX.

Another really indepth vid. I am genuinely impressed with Acura/Honda engineering. You wonder why these cars last so long, look at the components. BTH, what was the final verdict on the noise? Was it all contained in the bearings?
  • subbed because this video is so informative and to the point. definitely a fan
  • Awesome vid. It’s good to see this content, I normal use ‘10 accord vids to do work on my CU2. If you ever do a valve timing I’m definitely watching! 👍
