The entire point of the Dark Side is that behind the facade of power and pleasure, there are only pain and misery. There's a reason why not a single, and I mean not even one, dark side user lived a peaceful and non-tragic life. But of course to understand that you'd need to have actually watched the movies, which obviously none of these people did.

Most of them are looking for exactly what Lucas described the dark side as, "pleasure, temporary, and easy to achieve." They are looking for instant gratification, rather than long term happiness. Or, as Lucas described it, joy. Also, I'd like to see these simpletons try and pull from a dark enough emotion to bleed a crystal. Most of them couldn't turn a tomato red.
