Less really IS more, and for me, its taken a while for me to learn that. But I thank God I did, cuz not only does it cut down cost, but my skin is finally breathing😭. Thanks for highlighting that❤️

Hygiene mistakes 1. Not drying ur feet fully after a shower/bath (fungus could grow or get “athlete’s foot”) 2. Not flossing ur teeth at night (it gets all the gunk from what u ate during the day out and avoids cavities) 3. Not changing after working out even if u didnt sweat (sweat is absorbed by clothes and can grow fungus) 4. Re-wearing workout fits (same as the one above) 5. Oiling ur hair and not double cleansing after (causes a lot of buildup & funky smell) 6. Not washing ur pillowcases and phone case (bugs, bacteria, products in ur hair/skin, sweat can give u lots of acne) 7. Using too many body products (quality over quantity and mixing products can create strange results/smells and buildup)

I totally relate regarding poverty mentality because I also wasn't able to get the body care products that I wanted when I was younger. So, the second I started earning enough, I started purchasing a bunch of things without a reason and I"m not using them. i did a big decluttering day last summer and threw out everything I was not using and I started purchasing only what works for me whether its skincare products or haircare products

I was cleaning my phone case, but not regularly, thank you!!
  • I needed you to say these things sooo bad. The way you are so open about your experiences as well as how gross and disgusting the experience was made me change almost overnight I swear.

I love your realness!❤ That poverty mentality is a real thing! As soon as I had my own apartment, I was over buying hair products, skin products, clothes, even junk food because I grew up with 7 siblings so I always shared stuff or wasn't able to get the specific things.

Flossing is great, using a waterpik is an added bonus. Pro tip add a little mouthwash in your waterpik helps a ton

So, I'm embarrassed to admit this, but I had not been to the dentist since having my braces removed at age 20 (I am 27 now). I went to the dentist today and despite not having had a checkup or cleaning in 7 years, I had no cavities and my gums were only marginally effed, lol. And it's because even though I was terrified of the dentist for years, I still brushed, flossed, and TheraBreathed like a pro and had good oral hygiene. I also never chew gum or smoke. I'm not saying don't go to the dentist. But I am saying, following good hygiene tips can save you a lot of trouble!

Yall dont wash your underwear with any other clothes more specifically socks😭 and dont use scent beads with the underwear either 🗣️
  • I have found, that for me, men's deodorant antiperspirant works best.especially in the warmer months. I keep some in my backpack at all times

Tip that i have is to clean your hands often!!! Wash them, use wet wipes, sanitiser. We touch sooooo many things during the day and tend to forget to wash our hands.
