Aprillia sells a RS660 too which is the same exact motor and bike with clip ons and full fairings. Twins cup special basically. Superb bike.

Part of the reason Cali drivers move over is that it's considered a felony to block a motorcycle lane sharing. There are some limitations to lane sharing. Like maximum speed you can go, i.e. 35mph, and 5mph faster than slowed traffic. I've driven in Massachusetts. Unfortunately, I discovered why some drivers are referred to as massholes. Nice to see you were in my area of SoCal.
  • Ive followed you for years and LOVE your channel and reviews. SO HAPPY to see you do a review on the Tuono 660 that I am seriously considering buying. Ive always been a honda guy (like you) but this looks like a great first (semi) naked bike. Found one branch new (2022 model year) for $9250. Glad to hear you recommend this bike too as every review Ive watched seems to love it.

AWESOME Video HeroRR!!! I loved watching this one as I FIRST encountered "ride-sharing" about a month ago as I was on a site for used-motorcycles and there was an ad for it so I clicked onto it and it explained how it works and I was like "Wow,that's pretty cool! I may have to try that when the weather gets better around here! " Anyway..........OMG.............I am SOOOOOO with You on the "lane-sharing" idea!!! THAT should be LEGAL in all 50 states! I live here in southeastern Ohio on the river with West-Virginia right across the river, and NEITHER STATE has lane-sharing and MOST people living here, wouldn't even know what that even MEANS!?!? Lol. As where I live,is JUST like You described there in Massachusetts!!! Drivers HERE.........like actually AIM for You when your on two-wheels rather than move OVER to get out of your way!!! Whenever I go for a ride here,I somehow feel this invisible "bullseye" on my back while I'm riding in traffic!!! Lol. Anyway,GREAT VIDEO ........and TRUST ME DUDE,I'd give my LEFT NUT for a 60-degree day here in Ohio right now!!! LOL. ~Peace~

It was between this and the Duke 890 R. I got the Duke, but I think this bike is lovely. I wish there was an Aprilia dealership closer to me 🥲
  • It's got basically half an RSV4 engine. I love Aprilias. I almost bought a used '19 RSV4 RR for the sound, but read some horror stories about reliability, so I ended up getting a '22 Hayabusa. Lacks the beautiful V4 or parallel twin Aprilia sound, but its low and midrange power makes up for it. I still want an Aprilia, but I chickened out! 😄 EDIT: In Puerto Rico, lane splitting/sharing is illegal, but culturally acceptable even by some cops. A lot of people will instinctively open a little space in their lane for bikes to squeeze through and go to the front. Being a rider, I move over for any kind of motorcycle when I drive my car even if I don't need to, just because it feels good!

I wasnt in naked till I rode the CB1000R 2010, I am in deep love with her, I still have her in absolute pristine condition. I also have 2 more bikes, (2007 blade and an Africa 2019) I have changed and rode many bikes since I got the CB1000R... Nothing is like the CB, its by far the best, the happiest, the more fun and funniest bike I have ever riden... and IMO is one of the best looking bikes ever made. All stock, just removed the rear fender, changed the tail light with a smoked signal/break and the front signal lights that fit in the housing (you cant even see them when turned off)... and with stock exhaust it sounds amazing like an RC car / like a hornet... brilliant bike. If you ever get the chance just take it for a ride, you wont regret it.

Hey Hero, that's a wonderful idea with 'Riders share'. Maybe you'll make your own video series out of it. Hero drives across the US testing bikes that can be rented on 'Riders share'. And intentionally exactly the motorcycles that we as normal people can afford. Not $100,000 Panigale for investment bankers, but the bikes that average middle-class Americans can afford. That would be a fantastic series. BTW: Riders share should expand to Europe. Here in Germany I would like to try another bike from Riders share.
  • @FaithisKey792
You sound Italian. Very beautiful bike. All good brother, God bless you and your love ones. Thanks for the video.
  • I spent the last 19 years on a cbr1000rr. Bought a ktm 890 duke R. I like you didn't like naked bikes for a long time. But love the ktm 890r. Very happy with my decision.
  • @MotojRides
i so badly want one but got to sell my other two bikes first to buy one on facebook market place they go for 6k to 8k love the sound of them and they ride very nice what i have heard and seen vids off on youtube great vid bud
  • @giostisskylas
Lane filtering is not allowed in Germany. Nevertheless, most motorcyclists do it. I've never been stopped by the police. However, I never drive faster than 30 kph offset to the stationary traffic.
  • @Szlejer
Once upon a time, I really wanted a Tuono... then I asked some question from an Aprilia mech.
  • @muggepietje
I've actually just bought one, the Iridium Grey version you just rode. Quickshift + IMU added. After watching tons of vids about this bike most people say the same about the 4-6k rpm flatness. So solving that would be an exhaust indeed but which one would you go for? Personally i've had my eye on the LeoVince Pro.
  • @Fee.1
Can you please test the MV Agusta F3 800 RC or RR, or the Brutale 800 RC or the Dragster 800 RC or the SuperVeloce 800. Any of the 800cc Triple sports/nakeds. That motor is a gem. It might be the quickest revving motor I’ve ever experienced in a bike.
  • @TheVaughan5
Absurd that lane splitting (filtering) on a bike isn’t legal in many states. I live in S.E. England and it’s legal here and thank god it is because at times the roads are so fu **ing congested I wouldn’t bother with the bike (rc51) if I had to sit in line with the cars.
  • @GamesArt86
I immediately recognized that plaza, Poway Road ! If you are near let me know, I will let you review my Zero motorcycle 🏍️
  • @jacobac42
It sounds like that bike is spec'd fairly similarly to your old RC36 VFR750. How does the new 660 compare to the old VFR? As a 36 owner I'd be quite interested to see
  • Nice review on bike would there be a chance of you doing a review on a cbr600fa 2011 to 2013 they only made this bike for 3 years ther hardly any reviews on this bike honda pc41 like in my pic thankyou
  • Try the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650. It's an Indian motorcycle.. 650cc parellel twin cruiser.
