  • The fact that you can call police using an anonymous number and get unarmed people killed is also nuts.

That's so terrible that his niece also commited suicide a year later because of it. And then her boyfriend killed himself later as well after discovering her body. Just a tragic story all around. “Because Adelina was made to step over his dying body and she had to hear him breathe,” Lisa Finch said. “And she’s been going downhill ever since. She didn’t know how to handle it.” So sad.

What’s worse about finch getting shot was his niece who witnessed him get shot ended up taking her own life a year after this and her boyfriend took his life as well when he found her at their apartment.

How the hell did the guy who was the swatting target who just gave a fake address get more jail time than the guy who tried to have him swatted?!
  • The fact that the guy who gave a fake address got arrested for 18 months for his part in the mans death, but the officer who literally pulled the fucking trigger went on to get promoted less than 5 years later with no penalty, is ridiculous.
  • @Reoko77
One thing you missed is that after tyler went to prison, he somehow got ahold of the internet again and told everyone he didnt care he inadvertently killed someone, had no remorse about what he did and would do it all over again. He didnt learn a damn thing. And to this day, probably still hasn't.

The fact that SWATTING ever even works and yet actual reported crimes go uninvestigated reaffirms everything we already know about our police state
  • The fact you get over a year in prison for giving someone a random address online, but the police officer who actually killed the man got a promotion is mind boggling.
  • @TheMightofDab
I remember the early days of Swatting. For ages people were saying "this is going to lead to someone dying". It was the most predictable disaster i've ever seen online

Unfortunately, Tyler going to prison again was not the end of the story. using a tablet given to prisoners to pass the time, he somehow logged back into his Twitter and bragged about his current life behind bars. "Ya'll should see the swag I got in here. I'm an E-God!" He then said that when he gets out of prison, he's going to go on the biggest swatting rampage ever. killing a man made him feel powerful and he said he now has the power to kill anyone he wants. all he has to do is come up with a convincing story for police to kill that person. however, police were using his account to further gather evidence when he logged in and saw what he was saying as he was saying it. from what I've been hearing, Tyler's sentence has been extended. Tyler cannot be allowed out of prison. he is too much of a danger. killing a man did not teach him anything except that he has the power to do it

I got swatted twice, luckily here in England police don't use guns but it was still terrifying for me to hear loud bangs at my door and have 6 angry policemen storm through my house and tear the place apart. I was so scared and confused that I ended up having a bad panic attack thinking I was going to die. I feel like people do this as a form of control and bullying, it's disgusting!
  • All 4 parties involved in Andrew Finch's death should have been imprisoned. Tyler, the two gamers (one for requesting the swatting and the other for using a fake address), and most of all: the absolutely disgusting police officer who killed someone for no reason.
  • @mushmush4980
Even worse is that after the case, the police officer who shot the man said that he wants to tell the family to "get over it".
  • @edgaralanfrog
Sounds like grandma knew something everyone else didn’t. She didn’t even give him a second chance, that’s what trips me out; even the worst criminals seem to have one family member willing to put up with them time and time again. Not Tyler, apparently.
  • @lordgrape5015
This man put all that time and effort into learning all these different skills to swat people, but still never got better at the game lmao
  • @multieyedmyr
So the guy that only gave the wrong address got more time then the one who solicited the murderous act? American justice at its best!
  • So, lemme get this straight. The guy that gave a fake address upon being taunted, got 18 months, but the one that is technically the main conspirator in a murder, asking some figure to falsely send police to some home in hope for an arrest or worse , got 15 months. This system is idiotic.
  • @chenchen6150
When even Keemstar left speechless how heartless the person is and openly said have no remorse after the interview. You know that person is beyond help.
  • This is sickening and infuriating. He needs to be in prison the rest of his life in solitary confinement with no privileges to a phone, tablet, or even the ability to write a letter.
