E-flite Apprentice STS - Night Flight with Lights!

Published 2021-02-04
I've got $1 lights from Wally-World and (1) $30 LED Light kit and BOTH of the Insta 360 Go's on this bad boy and I throw it up on a cold night in some moderate winds. How does that go? You tell me in the comments below! Thank you!

  • I use to always have a Lemon non gyro rx right next to the AS3X rx so I could use AUX for a Eflite servoless release. The Apprenticed is a fantastic work horse of a plane, nice flying Dave, Jeff in LA USA

My 1st RC was an Apprentice S that I still have, along with lots of new replacement parts to keep it going forever hopefully. It's a great little plane with lots of versatility. I'm sure Dave-It-Yourself can turn it into quite the workhorse for a lot of your projects. You got me wanting to add some type of camera to my planes. I need to look into decent low cost options.

Where did you get the lights, what all do I need, and how did you install them?
