  • I say Ernesto is going to bring heavy rain and wind here in Chambersburg Pa and Hagerstown MD next 10 days.
  • @thievingpanda
Its gonna curve before hitting the east coast of Florida. 99% of them curve before hitting floridas east coast.

In relation to this, which could become Ernesto, there’s a lot of variations on where they could go from United States, East Coast, Canada, and even as far away as Bermuda should keep on a watch for it, even if this is not directed to United States, we could get very rough and rip currents I mean, one factor that’s gonna really depend on is the behavior of the jetstream like I said yesterday in the community section if it’s a little faster and stronger, then it’ll be deflected away from the northeast but it’s a little weaker and slower than it could potentially be north and northwest and that could mean a greater probability of impact in the United States and the Canadian Maritimes. And the longer it takes a form the higher the chance it could impact the United States and Canada. Aldo, a majority of the models agree and that’s the likely scenario at this time on a recurve however it’s not set in stone yet. and it’s also not a guarantee to see direct impacts in the United States and Canada. But if I were to rule out a section 1st of the United States will be the golf Florida all up near Wilmington, North Carolina so I would say from Wilmington, North Carolina all the way up to Newfoundland and Labrador and Bermuda should keep an eye on what happens over the next several days. Unlike its predecessors it’s unlikely this will go through the gulf. And the big question is impacts to the New England the European Canadian and Icon are saying no but the GFS American is saying maybe as it looks more like a tropical nor’easter. And as a reminder, even if this is not make a direct impact to the United States or Canada, we could so get high seas, high surf and rip currents and some high waves.
