The goggles are meant to help goalkeepers over time by limiting their peripheral vision so they can work on reaction times and things like that. They arent meant to be worn in game to improve gameplay
  • @matjenkins6237
These goggles probably have more of a benefit when they are removed, because it'll feel like you can see so much more of the pitch/options of who to pass to/see who is coming to close you down.
  • for the padding, as a keeper who used stuff like that, i can say it is perfectly legal, but people dont use much as it weighs more making it hard to move, grip socks deff work and they help a lot. and i would say the goggles would work and help you keep your eyes on the ball with more focus. love the videos keep it up.

Yeah I think the goggles are more for spatial awareness than ball focus. You need to know what's around you differently if you can't see it out of the corner of your eye.
  • @DjDolHaus86
Ahh yes, I knew having too much peripheral vision was holding me back.
  • @xAustere
Kieran, would you ever consider bringing back football vs? Loved that series.
  • For the padded long sleeve. I see many non league and pros wearing similar things on match day so it is legal, I’m just not sure if there’s such thing as over protection
  • @prlmamlaz2701
I bet i still couldn’t juggle the ball for more than 10 seconds with those goggles
  • @EioFootball
you should make a video of the swerve ball against a pro keeper love your videos
  • As a goal keeper myself there isn’t really a limit on the amount of padding (in the league I play in anyway) as the more padding you have comes with a draw back as it’s harder to move with more padding
  • The first googles when you wear them it feels like you are watching youtube shorts😂
  • @erikarzensek
With goggles my vision (especially left ans right of me) and sight sharpness in game improved so much.. no need to turn head like a confused chicken i just spot player left/right of me with the corner of my eye since the sight is wider than with goggles
