thanks for spending time with me in paris 💗 and remember to use my link www.magictravel.ai/?r=alia to book your next trip with Magic for free!

I've always been curious about what it would be like to travel alone and I guess I never really thought about how different it actually is to experience a new place alone. The last time I was in paris i was about 10 years old and I honestly can't remember much, so it does feel like seeing the city for the first time again, and wow is it beautiful ✨

  • Eating alone at a restaurant is easier if you sit at the bar. You’ll easily be able to strike up conversations with other solo diners and it becomes fun!

I actually love dining alone in a foreign place cuz I know I won't bump into anyone I know 😂 and I don't care if strangers judge me. But it's always gonna be hard trying something new for the first time, I feel like it gets more comfortable the more you do it.

I think the reason I enjoy your vlogs so much is they’re like shots from a movie scene, the effort that goes into making those walking shots of yourself I don’t know if ppl understand how much work that is especially when your shoes are killing you 😭 but I just have to say makes the transitions and the flow of your videos so relaxing and easy to watch! Paired with a chill and fun personality. Sorry went on a rant but new subscriber and binged all your vlogs lol

I travelled a lot for work many moons ago. Eating alone was something that took me a while to finally feel comfortable doing, but I'm an enthusiastic foodie so I was up for the challenge. It was in the days before smart phones so I would often have a little notebook that I used for writing down recipe ideas and food combinations from the menu while I was dinning. I still use my notebooks for inspiration in the kitchen, they're nice reminders of a different time in my life.

I went to Paris last December (for the first time) and i had the option to either get room service or go out and eat alone bc the person i was with didn't wanna go. I remember thinking to myself, i'm in PARIS ffs let me romanticize my life and go eat by myself so i got super dressed up and went on a fancy candlelit restaurant had a sensational meal watched the Christmas lights and had the best time. at first i felt awkward when they asked "just you?" but then i felt powerful. It made me think of Carrie Bradshaw in that episode where she dined alone with no 'armor'.

I am now in London, doing master degree and it’s the very first time for me to go outside Asia alone. Your blog literally encouraged me to try something by myself🥺🥺 Being in London is still overwhelming and feels lonely (a lot) but I’ll try to appreciate the time I have here. I am looking forward to your next blogs❤❤❤

you're so cute!!! doing things on your own can be sooooooo scary and nerve-racking, but it's exciting and can be so lovely too. I'm proud of you for stepping out of your comfort zone and trying something new!
  • I love eating and doing activities by myself! I’m the only child and idk I’m just used to it! But it’s nice seeing other people do the same! Glad you tried it!

I went to Kyoto for a few days by myself and went to a fancy place where the chef cooked in front of me and it was so liberating to be there by myself, staring off into space, and watching the chef cook and listen to people talk around me. I can't wait yo go back to Paris to do the same thing there ❤

Exploring Paris alone must've been such a unique experience! 🌍 It's always fascinating how revisiting a place can feel so new and fresh, especially when seen through a solo traveler's eyes. 🗼 I appreciate your candid take on the solo travel experience, especially in a city as mesmerizing as Paris. Your vlog provide a genuine perspective, and it's like taking a journey alongside you. Keep embracing these solo adventures and sharing them with us! 💫🥐
  • I went to that restaurant when I was there! Considering your dining out choices are always so well planned I’m so pleased with myself for picking there too, can’t wait for more Paris content!

When I was there for our TV show, it felt the days like a black-and-white movie in desperate need of some French subtitles. But, whether you're savoring croissants, exploring the Louvre (while trying not to get lost in there), or just soaking in the romantic vibes, Paris is like a city where 'romance meets reality,' and 'clichés' are all part of the charm! I'll love to be back here and hopefully, my travel dart would soon hit Paris.
