I used to have nightmares as a kid of the Kool Aid man breaking through my wall and into my house. Like why not use a f*king door right?
  • @jax1670
Come on Knox! You can't stop at I, we need parts II and III as well. The storytelling conveyed through the music video itself is enough for a one-off feature film imo
  • @landomack956
All 3 parts of the song are connected, that’s why the abrupt ending, part 2 will continue and then into part 3. I know you’ll get to them all!
  • the song actually doesn't end suddenly on the album. the 3 parts are more like 1 huge song but when making the videos they left the sudden break at the end to symbolize the ending of a life. one moment you are there...the next you aren't. always gives me chills when it cuts out. I would love to say more about the songs and videos but I don't want to spoil anything for anyone unfamiliar with this masterpiece of music and cinema.
  • 9 month ago,my wife had a heavy bleeding in her brain, and ended in repirator(Coma)..she survived and was in hospital over 8 month before she was able to come home...this song still hits hard and send me back standing with my 2 kids at her Hospital bed, hopeing she will wake up.

I would love to see you get Will Ramos on for an interview. With your different musical backgrounds it'd be a really fun conversations to listen to. You did a great job with the Ren interview, so it'd be interesting to see what questions you've got for Will.
  • I can appreciate this reaction si much, the fact you got the lyrics and genuinely look to know what's being said, the way u actually felt it even if not ur style of music, fucking awesome reaction bro
  • Please do the other 2 parts after this! They tell a heartrending story and is an example of the absolutely brilliant levels of talent the entire band possesses
  • @melomaniac334
Emotional deathcore is the best deathcore! Will is an amazing lyricist - the man writes and screams pure fucking poetry. Also it needs to be known that the screenplay for the Pain Remains videos was written by the guitarist, Adam De Micco. He's incredible. Lorna Shore is stacked with talent and my boys are deep thinkers with big hearts. I am so proud to support them and watching them win over non-metal fans is so fun to watch.
  • @Dilldough.
I’ve never had a song give me chills EVERY time I listen to it. And I’ve heard this song dozens of times. Adam is a fucking legendary songwriter! I bet he gives the greatest best man speeches.
  • @mbdrift18
Yassss the best trilogy of music ever
  • @Syn2424
It's amazing that you were one of the people who helped me appreciate hip-hop more than I did, and now you are on your own journey inside my circle.
  • 6:20 this is why metal is my favorite genre by far. Beautiful/intricate lyrics and storytelling plus some awesome riffs and drums. It just cant be beat imo
  • Probably have to get him on an interview someday lol he’s super cool and down to earth. He does videos with “The charismatic voice” channel and she’s awesome too. He was teaching her how to do these wild vocals he doesn’t here. She caught on quick. Might have to bypass the metal Monday and finish up the last 2 parts this week 😂. It ended abruptly because it legit flows into the next song instantly lol it’s just one nice big song
  • @Kelly30stm
Thank you Knox. You're reaction was so good. I knew you'd pick up on so many details. Gotta do part 2 and 3 now. I agree with the other comments. I think you and Will would have a great conversation!
  • @IronRaspberry
Will Ramos, the lead singer, is a really nice down to earth guy. Bonus, he’s a Ren fan! He did a voice analysis video to Ren’s “Chalk Outlines” with The Charismatic Voice and Chris Liepe.

Being a married man that almost lost my wife during our daughter's birth, this song hits SO DEEP every time i hear it. Remembering that feeling of hopelessness when there was nothing I could do but pray the doctors would be able to keep her alive and knowing how the rest of this trilogy goes, it really speaks to how real the lyrics are. For those who have lost their significant other or have had that very real fear of losing them, this song in particular, let alone the other 2 songs, show such a deep connection to the depths of emotion that music can have. For those that haven't experienced that feeling, i pray it doesn't happen to you. And for those that have, know that you are not alone. This song has such a spiritual connection to me personally, as I'm sure it does with many others. This is what i would feel a deathcore love ballad sounds like. This song is also why Lorna Shore has recently become one of my favorite bands. If you have ever had these thoughts after an experience like this, feel free to send me a message. None of us are alone if we stick together. Much love to you Knox for taking the time to see what we respect and please listen to the other 2 parts. I for one will definitely want to see your reactions to how the story ends
  • @pewbacca4177
can't wait to the point when you heard all three songs after another and understand the full story of the trilogy, this is just the beginning
  • @DB-Dubs
You can hear the emotion in Will's voice with every word. The emotion, anguish, pain in his voice, the lyrics, and the visuals of the video really bring out the emotions in the listener. It's like, they are saying things that we wish we got the chance to. Things that are locked away inside that never got the opportunity to be set free.
  • @ZxRogue6
The entire Pain Remains album is a masterclass in Deathcore storytelling. Every song ties into the next building up to this heart wrenching trilogy with high quality sound and expert lyricism. I cant wait to see the reaction to the other two parts of this trilogy
