'he'll be fine as long as he dodges' being said with that insane feral grin to this day is one of my favourite lines of his. I rarely enjoy english dubs but that line man, that line is so much fun to listen to.

I really, REALLY feel bad for bakugo’s voice actor, like I can’t imagine how much his throat must hurt at the end of each day

I feel so bad for him post-camp. He was kidnapped and his own mom blames him. Not to mention everyone blaming him for Allmight losing his power. It was traumatic and he clearly has some type of ptsd, “it’s constantly playing on loop” as he says. Yeah what’s fun about him is that he’s angry all the time with no impulse control, but he’s a much more complex character. He refuses to accept help and I think his mom might have something to do with it. He’s afraid of being seen as weak or less than. He’s driven to be the best hero, sure, but it’s because That’s the only way everyone will see him as someone without weakness. Which, ironically, might be his only weakness.
