[NOTHING PHONE (2) REVIEW]

The Android smartphone world is one of extremes. On the high end, you've got what some would consider Way Too Much: folding screens; built-in pens; ultra zoom cameras. But down in the midrange, there's a lot of what I consider Not Enough: watered-down specs and compromised experiences, wrapped up in bland, forgettable designs. That’s the space London smartphone maker Nothing has been trying to shake up for the past year with phones and accessories built to stand out … and this summer, it’s bringing that flashy phone (and some new ideas) to the US – with the Nothing Phone (2).

Lots of commenters haven't watched the segment at 6:48 and it shows 😄

I am rooting for Nothing to succeed as a smartphone maker. I think what they're doing within the candy bar phone space is fairly refreshing.
  • @festival3051
It's content like this that makes Mr. Mobile stand out from the others. I'm not even into phones, I just find these videos fun
  • I preordered my Phone (2) on the 11th when it came out. This is the most excited I’ve been about a new phone in years. I got the dark grey with 512GB/12GB 😊
  • @zawarudoz
I'm not interested in a foldable but I would definitely love a smaller version of this phone. It's HUGE.
  • @robweber9023
The glyphs really make this the "accessibility phone of the year". For those that are hard of hearing this phone is a really great option.
  • @richdaley9982
The glyphs are cool and it serves as a reminder of the long lost notification lights that use to adorn most Android phones. I guess phone makers realized that having people looks at their phones more often was to their advantage but it used to be nice to see a green flashing light for a new SMS, a red flashing light because a call was missed etc.
  • @KuldarJ
I've been using the Phone 1 for almost a year and I absolutely love it. I honestly thought that I might not use the glyphs at all, but I've realised that I've been using them all the time without even realising.
  • @MikhailKutzow
I love these phones' aesthetics. While I'm all aboard the foldable bandwagon, this would be an easy pick if I ever went back to slab phones. I'm so tired of technology that follows the Apple model of being sleek, friendly, and looking as little like technology as possible. Something like this that is so unabashedly technological? It's the sort of aesthetic design that I love. And I hope we can see more like it.

Since Essential Company was bought by Nothing, maybe they could incorporate their modular connectivity in their next phone. The Essential Phone was my favorite non Pixel Android phone. That magnetic option to attach accessories was so simple but I loved it.
  • @transformer88
Just feeling the light strip is kinda lame, why not make a dot matrix on the back ? I am sure it will be much useful and stylish

The most comprehensive review format as always!
  • @asishnayak1
The level of dedication for a phone review and traveling vlogs with it . Just great. On top of that pleasing voice over is just lit. ❤
  • @Curse930
Michael Fischer's phone reviews are always on point and they have a cinematic view and overall composing. Like art... Thank you very much. Looking your videos for ages now, like since the first HTC Desire Smartphone.
  • Your reviews are out of this world in production quality and value! 😊
  • @iau
Love that Michael focuses so much on fun. Yeah, sometimes some features don't make the most financial sense, but those little quirky joyful things some products bring just make life so much more cheerful.
  • @moyenaak
Your phone reviews are the best and your voice is so amazing!!
