  • My dad had to buy a “family car” back in 2006 when my little brother came along, and I remember I was 5 years old when we had flown to the Frankfurt dealership to buy this car. He got a e320 amg wagon, with a v6 3.0 liter, and he drives it to this very day. I remember when he bought it the guy at the dealership gifted him a mercedes watch, and he gifted it to me when I turned 18. It’s currently sitting at only 180000kms, but it probably resembles my entire childhood when I see a w211. Absolute beauty.

The "tunnel mode" 's main feature is it recycles the cabin air, for example if the car in front of you is emitting a lot of smoke
  • Market car the type of guy that pranks his friends by lowering their headrest

You don´t get different tail lights depending on the styleing edition. The different tail lights are because of different manufacturing dates of the car. Between 2002 and 2006 the lights were the older ones with separated transparent bars. Between 2006 and 2009 the transparent bars turned into one transparent middle section. This was for all cars.

I'm driving 2006 model with V6 petrol engine with avantgarde. Amazing how this old car can still look so nice. MB knows how to make timeless design!

Mine has been in my family for nearly 21 years. My dad bought it new. 76.000 miles. I still love it. I have an Audi A5 S line but my E220 is my favourite

I have a 2005 W211. Nothing gone wrong in years, still runs like new
  • Great review. I've owned 5 E Classes and currently have 2 and you still taught me something. Thank you.

Bought my friends 2007 e220cdi in 2019. It had 164,000 miles on the clock , it cost 1,300gbp. I ran it for three years and sold it in 2022 for 1500gbp with 194,000 miles on the clock . These cars are the best of the best, I used it to close my business , carry all my stock and take rubbish to the council tip, I worked it into the ground and it ran beautifully and was amazing . Now I've retired and moved to a small cottage in the country , it was too large for me , but 10 out of 10 , the best car you can get
  • The key thing with the W211 is that they took care of the rust issue that all W210 in cold climates had. It was more spacious and overall a better-refined vehicle. My father had the E320 CDI and that thing was a beast!

I would personally recommend the E320 with Gasoline+LPG GAs or a E320 CDI ( only with OM 648.961 engine) with the automatic gearbox. It's like a Tank. You can't go wrong with this version. But attention! This version only came with automatic gearbox and it never had 4matic (4x4) setup! If you find a E320 CDI with 4matic and or manual transmission, stay away from it. I managed to get over 840.000km with it before my insurance totaled it after an accident but I'm currently looking again for the E320 CDI or the E320 Gasoline version with LPG Gas injection (Best gasoline engines for the E320 are M112.949 V6 224hp and M112.954 V6 224 which is a great alternative since it came with 4matic)

I have watched so many videos on this car and I can see that you did a lot of research as there were a lot of things and quirks mentioned in your video I have not seen anywhere else, great job.. please keep posting.

Insanely handsome and a true gentleman, not only in how you present yourself, but also in how you respond to people making rude and/or immature comments on your videos. Also, your English is far better than most Americans, no joke. You are a catch! 😍
  • Loved hearing about the history of the car, you can really see how amazing it was for it's time, and even still holds up now. Also really cool how you included your own buisiness cards, really shows you care :))) Can't wait to see what you do next!
  • best video yet! the car has so many quirks and you present them so well! keep going ❤

No way! I've got a w203 c220 cdi and I didn't know rolling down the windows using the key was possible, until I watched this video. Thank you, I really missed this feature and it kinda blew my mind when I tried it out and it actually worked! Great video!
