I’m so proud of Emily and Jess. They had the best development in the entire series. I love them!

Emily Gilmore has the best character development. So happy with the ending she got.

it began with jess not being good enough for rory, but in the end rory wasn’t good enough for jess
  • Everytime i rewatch the show i start off loving Rory and by the end hate her.

I was never happy with Lane's ending. I mean, okay she got married and had children but I've always wanted more from her and especially not ending up in the same place her mother was . I just wanted her to be content. Always Rory got everything without even trying but Lane wanted more than anything to have the freedom that Rory had and if she had that she would totally make her dreams come true compared to Rory who even though had it pretty easy she always found a way to make her life " harder ".

ill never forgive them for making dean dumber just to make jess look better. he used to read and understand rory’s pop culture references!! he wasnt the brightest but he tried!!!!

Okay, but how does Emily Gilmore look so much younger and better in the last episode?
  • @roter13
The older I get the more I realize how self-center both Lorelai and Rory are.

Ok, didn't expect Richard's one to make me that sad. Also wish Lane got more screen time in the revival, generally disliked it anyways but all in all I love Gilmore Girls

I totally get that people don’t love the ending but I think the point of Gilmore girls is that at its core it’s about a mother and daughter and how their lives intertwine and change : they show contrast within one another - Loreali was given everything as a child get rejected it, fell pregnant young and worked as a maid - yet she turns out really successful with her INN and falls in love and is happy - Rory on the other hand - does everything right, she’s the golden child, yet life doesn’t pan out how it’s supposed to - is it unfair ? Yes but it’s also a reflection of life and shows that just because you take a few wrong turns doesn’t mean you can’t be successful- this is shown with loreali, also it’s clear the women always reflected each other and so did their boyfriends, Max was Rory’s dean, Jess is Rory’s Luke and Logan is Rory’s Christopher. It all makes sense when u think about it like that x
  • Okay but why did they make it so long for Luke and Lorelai to finally get married -

Dean's last line- "Pay for it this time." 😢😢😢😢😢 he deserved better.
  • Watching Gilmore Girls when it first aired and you’re Rorys age. Binge watching Gilmore Girls on Netflix, suddenly you’re Lorelei’s age. Funny how quickly that happens...
