  • For a truly magnificent vocal performance, check out the Eagles' "Seven Bridges Road."

I think it was Joe Walsh who said it best about Randy: “Randy’s biggest problem was that he never knew how good he was.”
  • Eagles ate the greatest band of all time. Period. No other band had as many single artist that went on to have their own careers. The harmonization of these guys were just incredible.
  • Ladies and Gentlemen in my opinion the best voice in the Eagles, Randy Meisner GOOSE BUMPS
  • You haven't heard these guys harmonize until you listen to them singing "Seven Bridges Road".

The amazing thing is, on the documentary they say that Randy didn't want to perform this song live, because it is so high pitched and difficult... the rest of the band encouraged it 'to the limit'... then he did it... and this is the result, on the video you can see the other members of the band looking happy and the "told you" look through the song... masterpiece
  • If you wanted to hear the Eagles really harmonize, "Seven Bridges Road!" Amazing!
  • The Randy Meisner era of the Eagles was my favorite with his phenomenal backup vocals and pure lead.

Randy's finest performance. His smile after he holds that amazing note is priceless. This is Randy's song. Nobody can sing it like he could. Miss you Randy.🥰

My mom passed away 5 years ago today. She LOVED this song. We all did. My mom was a singer, so she always sang along to songs she loved but when this song played she would hear the first few notes, say awwwwwww and just close her eyes and listen so intensely. Randy 😇 was that magical! The Eagles were a staple in our home. This reaction video just happened to be on my home page tonight, so of course I pressed play. This ones for you mom 😇. ♥️

Eagles "I Can't Tell You Why" is awesome, great video too. The Eagles have SO many hits!!!
  • There are no bad Eagles songs. This was an ALL-STAR band of amazing artists. That in itself makes sharing the spotlight tough and emotions run high. They pulled it off for many years. There was a case recently over song rights. Politics ruins everything. We had the best of times in the '70s.
  • I had the privilege "to see them when "Hell Froze Over" in 1995 and again in 2001 at the Rose Garden in Portland. Every song was performed to perfection. If not for the audience you'd think it was a studio track. Having been an Eagles fan from the Stone Ponies on through my youth it was touching to see them perform. I was blessed.

Randy Meisner is the bassist/singer for this song. All these fools can sing sing! They harmonize so fantastically, my favorite songs full of them harmonizing are "Seven Bridges Road" and "Take It Easy". I knew as soon as you said "He's hitting some high notes" that you were about to be blown away.
  • Fun fact, in the early 70s, Glen Frey and Don Henley were in Linda Ronstadt's backup band.

RIP Randy Meisner. You are missed. Thank you for all the beautiful music you left us.
