THE destructive deluge that engulfed Dubai on Tuesday could end up costing the glitzy city $1billion to clean up after the "apocalyptic" floods.

Maybe consider investing in some drains and a sewage system rather than just buying cars

What is the point of havng the biggest, the longest, the highest, the tallest etc etc when you have the lousiest drainage system in the world…

That water is actually a blessing if they could collect, store it, and purify it like they do with salt water. FRESH water.

There is nothing freak about this. They “seeded” the cloud for rain. The government should compensate the people for all the damages that the rain caused which came from their negligences.

Not just storm drainage, Dubai is famous for not having adequate sewerage collection and treatment. Spending 80% of investment for showoff! Further more, the city is located along ocean shoreline with a river flowing thru!!
  • Thanks to the emergency services of Dubai for their quick response and elimination of the flood of the city from heavy rains! Well done just! Thanks to everyone who tried so hard!

I feel for these people. They are obviously not the multibillionaires in fancy high rise penthouses, etc. Hope they're helping out the people who lost so much.❤
