The Best Hike in Whistler | Wedgemount Lake

The best hike in Whistler, Canada might also be the hardest hiking trail I’ve ever done. Wedgemount Lake is at the top of the list for outdoor adventures in British Columbia. The trailhead is just North of Whistler Village on the Sea to Sky Highway and gets steep almost immediately. It's 8.7 miles or 14 kilometers roundtrip with 4,003 feet or 1,220 meters elevation gain. With it not being that long of a hike there and back it's easy to underestimate how difficult it is. I did a solo hike there and back in about half a day but I definitely felt the pain later. Be ready to test your endurance when you take on this challenge. The scenic views of turquoise water and mountain peaks at the top make it all worth it.

Excellent use of music. The order of the songs in the description doesn't quite match the order in the video, and links would be great. I was surprised the first song couldn't be recognized by Shazam. Anyway! Good work.
