My portfolio is up like $300k this year so far. My girlfriend still gives me shit that I don't have a "real job" whilst she works 12 hours a day for $3k a month. I'm never telling her.

This is quite educational. It's crucial for newcomers to keep in mind that the financial markets are highly irrational in the short run. You should constantly be ready for the unexpected. That is how chance operates. Because of the inherent risks in the market, I always favor long-term investments.
  • As a newbie about to invest, you must have these four things in mind 1. Have a long term mindset. 2. Be willing to take risk. 3. Be careful on money usage, if you're not spending to earn back, then stop spending. 4. Never claim to know - Ask questions and it's best you work with a financial advise like Alex Antonio..
  • Becoming a good trader takes time and patience. When i first got into trading i was liquidated twice, and lost my entire mortgage deposit. I could have given up, but decided to learn how to trade and put it into practice. 4 years later and i am glad i made that decision.

I've been working hard to achieve early retirement and financial freedom via saving, investing, and working. But since the epidemic, the economy has declined, severely weakening my portfolio. Now, my query is: In current erratic markets, should I keep adding to my portfolio, or should I look into other industries?

The market's direction can swiftly change, with indexes frequently transitioning from a bear market to a bull market precisely when the news is most negative and investor sentiment reaches its lowest point.
  • just sold a property in Portland and I'm thinking to put the cash in stocks, I know everyone is saying its ripe enough, but Is this a good time to buy stocks? How long until a full recovery? How are other people in the same market raking in over $200k gains with months, I'm really just confused at this point.

I'm an aspiring trader who would rather learn from other traders' experience than investing in the market myself, in anticipation of the next bull run. What are your thoughts on copy trading as well? Do individuals actually earn a living? Just trying to get some reassurance. I want to have a healthy portfolio worth at least $850,000. Reliable inputs please.
  • You work for 40yrs to have $1m in your retirement, Meanwhile some people are putting just $10k in a meme coin for just few months and now they are multi millionaires. I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life
  • I remember when I just got into crypto back in 2019 but later in 2020 I ended up selling it because I was dumb and I didn't understand it. I studied and learned and now I know how it works. Got back into crypto early in 2023 with 10k and I’m up with 128k in a short period of time .This comment serves as motivation for all those who have invested and continue to invest in cryptocurrencies with so many losses, do not give up, cryptocurrencies can change your life. Do your best to connect with the right people and you will surely see changes.
  • The problem we have is because Most people always taught that " you only need a good job to become rich. These billionaires are operating on a whole other playbook that many don't even know exists.

Cryptocurrency is booming, notably giants like BTC and ETH. Yet, the market's rollercoaster nature is testing even the hardiest investors. which is why we should look out for proper market analysis or alternatively seek guidance from certified market strategists

As a beginner what do I need to do? How can I invest, on which platform? If you know any please share.
  • Great video and very straightforward. I don't see any other perfect time for one to invest in crypto and trade than now. I don’t think that buy and hold is a valid investment strategy anymore but trading is worth it and you make more money when you trade correctly. just made my first $100,000 in crypto and I barely know how to express how happy and excited I am right now. Its all about knowing what strategy to apply and when.
  • Overall, 51% of traders think this year would favor stocks, mutual funds, and other equity-based investments, despite Treasury yields and other safer cash-like investments paying big. I’m looking for opportunities in the market that could fetch me $1m ahead of retirement by 2025

I will be forever grateful to you, you changed my whole life and I will continue to preach on your behalf for the whole world to hear you saved me from huge financial debt with just a small investment, thank you Loretta Nevins.
  • @Fleneroy77
I agree with some of the things you stated. I put in 5k into stocks late last year and flipped into five figures within a few months and still going. I’ve always been an advocate of trading because it has been rather rewarding. I hope to attain financial freedom soon. One more thing, keep up the good work.
  • What is the best strategy to enter crypto trading now for someone with more or less than $8000
  • @JanOlivier-ny1lr
It's okay if they don't agree with this type of investing, many of us do agree. I have 20 positions in high growth stocks. I'm getting 15 dividend pay checks, however I'm up 125 % this year. About $650k this yr, good dividend paying portfolio, although I use an F.A so buy as much as you can and wait for the rebound. Only the brave gets rewarded in these times!

My expectation for 2024 is that markets starts to broaden out more, with the rates cut I have a couple of questions....can I safely trade $220k in the markets? What should I do differently?
