The idea of Trump walking into the courtroom and seeing Rachel Maddow sitting there is quite amusing to me for some reason.

trump isn't arguing he's innocent, he's arguing he has the right to be a criminal

"Miserable and Annoyed" is the description for those who couldn't find an excuse to escape jury duty.
  • @mypillowguy445
I'm voting for the man that signs bills into law, not the guy who spent his life breaking the law.
  • @TBMODB
Miserable and annoyed is how the whole country feels about trump walking around free. Lock him up!

Imagine not ever having been held accountable for the first ~80 years of your life…
  • @dtylice
That creep is unaccustomed to being accountable.
  • Rachel Maddow in the court room just really warms my heart to NO END! Hope it wasn’t too smelly Rach!
  • PLEASE don't call him "President" Trump. "Donald Trump" or "the defendent" would be more appropriate. He's a private citizen and should be treated as such.
  • The long wait was worthed. Day 7 of the first criminal trial vs the Orange Clown and the details are simply unbelievable.
  • @terryt.1643
Defense is just rubbing our noses in the fact Trump was President. That should have nothing to do with his criminal behavior. If he did the crime he should do the time.

I love Rachel Maddow covering this live. Her political acumen is superb. Miserable and annoyed is how about half the country feels about Trump remaining a free man
  • @marshhen
I enjoy that Maddow reporting live included word like platonic, baroque and occluded. Nice to hear someone speak with an expressive and varied adult vocabulary on the news.

The prosecutors opening statement was brilliant, the emphasis and repetition of the words “defendant “& “Conspiracy “ laid the groundwork and outline of the entire prosecution. This is exactly what an opening statement should do. Simple, short and sweet. Repetition and then the rest is a fill in for the jury. The rest of the evidence the jury will dovetail into that simple outline and parameters. “Defendant “ “Conspiracy “.

Lock him up for the good of the Country and the World!!! 💙 💙 💙

  • HE'S annoyed oh poor thing! NOT! We're all annoyed that he's not in jail yet.
