I had to google springtail to see what it was. Apparently, it's considered a nuisance--not because it bites, stings, or damages anything in your house, but merely because people don't want to see it. If it eats mold, I feel like it should be honored and not hated. Poor little, misunderstood bug.

I LOVE BOB SO MUCH!!!!!!! I looove mantids! Where I live, we only have two species and they're just very plain green mantids, but I catch one or two every year at the end of the season. I wait until they have most likely mated already, and it's starting to get too cold for them to live in the wild much longer. That way I'm not too worried about messing up the ecosystem, and I get to watch some elderly mantids live out the rest of their days in peace vuv Sadly, they only live for a couple of months if you catch them that late in the year, but hey. It's a good couple of months for the old fuckers

I've not lived, or even been in Belgium for years, but I do remember many nights that started with a joyous "ééntje is geentje", only to turn in to blurry, scattered memories, and ending in me waking up the next day (way too late) with unexplained bruises and a splitting headache.
