The quote is "A jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one." People always leave off the last part. In this case, the common usage works though. I walked away from IG with about 40K followers at the time because I just didn't like it anymore. Starting from scratch on YouTube because it actually compliments my career, requires a skillset I'm interested in developing, and I actually like being on here. Thank you!!

The phrase is "if you speak to everyone, you speak to no one"... meaning you can't please everyone, if you do you aren't saying anything poignant or of value by catering and being palatable to everyone
