  • Wonderful to see you at the Collins Bay Marina Kingston from a Kingston Boy. You missed out on not visiting Kingston the finest city in Canada

Sorry to hear about your finger. Perhaps you could recruit some spare crew from other boats transiting the Trent Severn canal to help you out through the locks while your finger heals. Don’t be afraid to ask for volunteers here too - I’m sure there are some viewers/subscribers reasonably close to some of the locks you’re transiting who’d love to help you transit or provision. I might be able to help you out at locks from Kirkfield to Port Severn depending on when you’re transiting that section.

Rainy day video request. How about a tour of your yacht and a background story of your life, work etc.
  • If this was already mentioned, forgive me. Be sure to fly a small Canadian flag off your starboard spreader (or whatever you got) as a courtesy. You didn't mention a yellow Q flag either but that's good stuff for a future video.

I'm happy to see wearing the PFD and gloves when working the locks. Keep up the good work and you seem to be a little more chiout on the locks.
  • Make sure if you have any future rainy day videos, you show us! We’d love to see rainy day cozy videos from inside the yacht! 😊

My son caught his first fish right where you refilled your fluid after the lock. We hope you enjoyed our small part of NY. I look forward to seeing the rest of your trip, safe travels !

You need to either stop using the mandolin or start using the spiked holder that touches the veggies. Never use those things while hand holding the vegetable. Maybe see a doc while you’re waiting. May need a stitch or two. Hang in there you’re doing a great job other than trying to feed yourself🤪
  • At about 14:40 in this video, in one of the Oswego canal locks, you can see a fixed black vertical cable mounted into the lock wall. These are much much easier to use than the hanging lines (which are free at the bottom). To use the cable, you loop a line around it, back to the boat, with a half turn on a mid ship cleat. Your line slides down (or up) the cable. You have much more leverage to control the boat this way than just hanging on by hand.
  • Like your philosophy on thruster use. If that's all you do, in trouble if something gets sucked into it/them and you've never done it engines only

Did you need stitches? Thanks for sharing your adventures. You have a great demeanor and make even better videos. Best of luck!!

Go to the doc and get antibiotics . You don’t want to mess with an open wound
  • @lordTowle
You need to have blood clotting agent on board. Then some stuff called Nu-skin (it will burn when you first put it on). Between the both, you would be okay. Best of luck.
  • Good luck for the finger. Trent severans got I need Lyft lock that I think you will enjoy
